At the doctor's, my mom fills out the paperwork while I continue hurling sparkles.

She pats my back gently and says, "It'll be ok sweetie,"

She finishes the paperwork and hands it to the secretary. Five slow, hurling sparkle - filled minutes later, I'm sitting in a room with tiled floors, unicorn wallpaper, and some encouraging posters that say things like, 'Get well soon!' and 'Wash your hands often!'

The doctor walks in. The doctor is a woman who seems to be in her thirties. She is wearing Looney Toons scrubs and other childish stuff. I was taken to my old doctor clinic because my mom hasn't had the time to fill out the paperwork for her doctor.

From the doctor's name tag, I can see her name is Dr. Martie Tyrone.

Dr. Tyrone says, "Hi there Itsa, my name is Dr. Tyrone and I'll be checking you out today,"

My mom tells her about the family record and shot record and past diseases stuff, then Dr. Tyrone gestures for me to follow her.

'That's weird,' I think to myself.

I follow her to a strange bronze room. She opens a heavy metal door and gestures for me to go inside. She closes the big door and I'm trapped in darkness. She turns on a single light, and I see a mirror.

I remember this from books, it's a one way window.

Then, a thin green grid-like light scans me. I hear a short beep, then I am in total darkness once more.
