Steph's POV:

As I arise to the feeling of the sun on my face, I notice the two cats lying beside each other on the cat's new bed. I check the clock on my lock screen as I began to lift myself up out of my comforting blanket burrito. I stare at the cat for a short amount of time until I finally realized " Oh yeah! I have to start looking for your owner today.... I completely forgot." I pause and scratch the back of my neck "It's only been a day and he feels like my own..." I say in a quiet voice and sigh aloud "uGHHH... I can already feel that today is going to be a long day."
-----
We headed downstairs, all as energetic as you should be in the morning...aka dead. I fed both cats in the usual spot as I made oatmeal for myself. There was some news about Andy Biersack getting into another fight during one of his concerts before his recent tour was coming to an end. "Oh Andy, when will you ever find some chill with your defensiveness." I sighed with a slight smile, looking at the new cat and how he was meowing at the tv. "Hey, what's wrong? Are you a fan of Andy Biersack also?" I chuckled when he meowed in response. " Well, i'm going to have to start my day sooner or later." I turned the television off and cleaned up after my mess. The cats played with one another as I headed upstairs to change. I grabbed my blue tye-dye tee, black jeans, and all black converse, as I changed into them.
-----
Once I was completely dressed, I grabbed my phone, wallet, car keys, house keys and said my goodbyes to the cats. "Bye guys! I'll see both of you later!" They meowed in response to my farewell as I headed out, locking the door behind me. Before heading to the park, I went to Subway and picked myself up a sandwich meal and ate my sandwich in the café part of the shop.
----
Eventually, I arrived at the local park and began taking a walk along the sidewalk. Before I put my headphones in and went into my own world, I saw a poster on a nearby light post and decided to check it out. I take a relaxing breath and begin to walk up to the light post and read. "Lost Cat" with a picture of a black and white cat that looked exactly like the one I found last night. The picture was labeled "Crow" Below the picture said " REWARD : $600" "If found please call..." It gave the number so I wrote it down and saved it as a new contact. "...I'll have to call Crow's owner first thing in the morning... Good thing tomorrow is Sunday and I have no work" I pause 'Now I have to think about taking Crow back...' I sigh and plug my earphones in, blasting my favorite music.
----
2 hours later
I went home after I found Crow's poster and decided to greet him with his now known name. " Hey Pepa, Hey Crow!" He looked thrilled after I had said his name but he still had this longing look in his eyes. "... How can such a precious creature show so much emotion." I whispered to myself as I watched Crow wiggle around rubbing against my legs.

I arose to the feeling of Crow's paw on my hand and the view of Pepa laid across my bed. "Today's the day.." Crow meowed at me and snuggled closer to my side. I thought about it for a while... 'Why did Crow sound so familiar besides the fact that it was the cats name.' I decided to push that thought away and grab my phone off the charger. I looked through my contacts and found one labeled 'Crow's Owner' I questioned whether I should dial the number or not. 'Steph, what the hell. Just call Crow's owner already, so both cat and human can be happy.' I listened to my thoughts and dialed the number right away. *One Ring*... *Two Rings* ... 'I don't think they will pick up' I sighed and right as I did that, the third ring was interrupted by an abrupt response :
- "Hello?"
+ "Hi, I believe I found your cat Crow?"
- "Whoa... W-wait what, you did ?! "
+ "Yeah, it's all thanks to the posters you hung that I was able to contact you."
He whispered to himself in a barely audible tone
- "... I thought you may have been a crazed fan."
+ "Pardon?"
- "Sorry, its nothing. But, thank you so much!"
+ "No problem, um... Is there a certain place you want me to meet you so that I can give you back Crow?"
- "Oh man, was he that much if a burden. I'll have a talk with him later."
+ "No, that's not what I meant. He's just such an amazing cat I didn't want to get to attached." I laughed slightly and I heard him chuckle on the other line.
- "Well, i'm sure he appreciates the compliment." He laughed and I laughed along with him.
+ "So, um... About the meeting place-"
- "I'm sorry! I got carried away with conversation" I could practically feel his fluster on the other line. "The park on Willowsburg Avenue?"
That park is up the block...
+ "That's actually surprisingly close. Sure!"
- "Tomorrow at 7pm?"
+ "Sounds great! See you then!"
- "See ya!"
*Ended Call*
----
Once the call ended I realized we didn't exchange any information about each other, like our names. "... I can't believe I forgot to introduce myself!" I groaned at my own mistakes and lied back onto my bed.
