"So, who all work in the trauma department?,"I curiously asked as Tristan got on the road, suddenly going faster.

"Cole, Stacy, Nicholas, Persia, Scottie, Amanda, and Cameron,"Tristan said quickly.

"Um... Ok,"I said, unsure of what else I should say.

I barely even heard what he said. Would it kill him to speak a little slower?

Tristan kept his eyes on the road and drove with one hand.

The other was occupying his chin, apparently, he was bored.

At least, that's what it looked like."

Are you ever happy?,"I asked, turning to face him.

"Are you ever minding your own business? The answer to that should answer your question,"replied Tristan.

What a smart ass mouth.

"Why are you never happy?,"I asked, curiously.

"Because you never mind your damn business,"Tristan mumbled.

"Tristan, seriously! Why are you never happy?,"I asked again.

"Shut up!,"snapped Tristan, suddenly facing me.

"No! Not until you tell me why you're always so upset!,"I exclaimed, crossing my arms.

Tristan rubbed his temples with his free hand and tried to ignore me.

"Come on, Tristan, who's a good boy? Are you a good boy? Yes, you are! Oh, yes, you are!,"I cooed, trying to get him to talk.

"I swear, one of these days I'm going to fucking tie you to the top of the Empire State Building and just leave your ass there!,"he growled.

"That's okay, I've always wanted to get up there. Imagine the selfies I could take from there,"I wistfully sighed.

Tristan didn't respond and continued driving.

"Would you like to take a selfie with me?,"I asked hopefully.

"No,"Tristan responded almost immediately.

"You don't like anything,"I shook my head, taking my phone out.

I went to the camera and turned around to face the window. I lifted the camera up high so that it would get us both.

"I said no,"Tristan said, briefly looking away from the road to glance at me.

And that's when I took the picture.

Right when he looked at my phone.

"Ha! I'm so keeping this,"I laughed, taking a good look at the photo.

"Give me that!,"Tristan reached over with his free hand to get my phone.

"No!,"I cried, keeping the phone out of his reach.

"Dammit, give me the phone, Kaitlyn!,"he snapped.

"No! It's MY phone!,"I protested, trying to get out of his reach.

He grabbed my arm holding the phone and I switched the phone into my other hand.

"You'll NEVER get my phone! HAHAHA!,"I cackled like an evil witch.

"Will you stop acting crazy?! Just delete the picture!,"Tristan said incredulously.

"But why?! It's such a pretty picture of me... and you... but mainly me!,"I whined.

"Well, crop me out of it,"Tristan said through gritted teeth.

I swear, sometimes he makes me feel like such a child with the way he talks to me.
