Waking up in the morning felt more relaxing than it had ever been before. It was cosy, unusually soft, not to mention warm, and his pillow kept rising and falling so it set a nice-.... wait, rising and falling?
Xiaotian didn't want to open his eyes, but he knew he had to to find out what he was on currently as he didn't remember falling asleep last night, never mind of something that moves. So using what felt like a herculean amount of strength in his morning haze along with the giant (and completely predicted) hangover, Xiaotian peeled his eyelids back to see what was going on because to him, in that particular moment anyway, it just didn't make sense. Well... it didn't until he actually saw what it was, or more like who it was he was currently lying on.
Turns out that at some point during the night, he had moved or shuffled or maybe even someone else moved him, but either way the end result was that the celestial monkey, Qi Xiaotian, was now lying on demon Bull prince, Red sons', chest, with their tails entangles beside them in what feels to be a spiral of sorts (he's too tired and hungover to figure it out or frankly care) and both sets of arms hooped around the other. As for where the arms were, his were around the bull's torso, with his injured one more just sitting there than holding, whilst the others were around his waist.
In this sort of position they looked similar to lovers, and hungover with a massive headache or not, Xiaotian's brain was almost too aware of that fact and his face flushed more pink than Red son's samadhi fire.
Although the main instinct was to get up, leave and never speak of the event again and hopefully take it to the metaphorical grave (curse his immortality for not allowing him to dig a hole and die in it!!), he wasn't sure what his decision was.
His conundrum?
Leave the hot flame demon he has a crush on and most likely make fool of himself by getting up with a hangover (and his stomach felt fragile like broken or breaking glass, and he's pretty sure that if he moved too much he'd vomit, not even mentioning the ever growing headache he's feeling), so (technically) not the best situation to be in.
His options:
Option 1 - He gets up, very carefully with as little movement as possible as to not wake the demon beneath him and also not upset his stomach anymore than it already is. Then hope that if all goes well that Redson just shrugs off the memory or whole situation aside like a drunk, a fever dream or even a hallucination. (obviously that last part would hurt, but at least he'd keep what relationship he has left with the guy instead of losing him after he rejects him.)
Option 2 - He stays where he is and just tries to fall back asleep again with the small hope that the demon hasn't noticed he's awake thus far, so when his body becomes more stable he makes less of a fool of himself by accidentally throwing up on Red son (which would be worse than any rejection (once again CURSE HIS IMMORTALITY!!)).
So far, those are the only options he has, and he can't currently think on any others as his head is hurting, he feels way too tired and quite simply, Red son is too damn good of a pillow that just his rhythmic breathing is lulling him back to sleep. Although all that means is that the decision is out of his hands and option 2 is the default option since he doubts he could get up even if he wanted to.
