Tell me, my little sweet girl, do you know a story of Snow White? Of course, you do. Everybody knows it. And do you know what happened with the evil queen? The women, who gave a poisoned apple to Snow White?
Don't you?
So listen carefully, my little child.
I'm going to tell you the truth.
Tell you what really happened ...
People say, that the queen was an evil witch. But it's not true. She was a seeress, sometimes she could see a future. People say, she charmed the king. They are lying. Evil Queen was in love with the king. She had met him before Snow White was born. She was only fourteen years old at their first meeting. They had two children, but no one of them survived cold northern winters.
When the queen died, the king's mistress moved to the castle. There was born their third child. A little pretty girl. After that, the king married her. Their marriage was happy but short. The Death took the king, and the queen was left alone in the dark castle.
Snow White was a quiet girl. Nobody could tell what was on her mind. But servants loved her and despised the second child. For them, it was only a bastard, the whore's daughter. Nothing more.
Few years had passed.
Snow White was eleven, and it was an unlucky year. The drought came to the kingdom. Famine came. Plague came. For five long years, they stayed in our lands. Five hard and horrible years. Rumors had it, it was a black magic. People blamed the queen for their misfortunes.
One day Snow White had gone. She escaped in the darkest and snowy night. The sky was black, like darkness in Hell, and the wind was in a rage as, if the Devil himself was walking through the streets of our town.
Snow White hadn't been found in the morning and everyone decided the princess was dead. Of course, the queen was found guilty. People were sure; the queen killed her stepdaughter to make her own child an heir.
But we know, my sweet child, Snow White wasn't dead. There was no hunter and no dwarfs. The little princess had escaped and then returned after three years.
She lied.
She convinced people of queen's guilty.
And everybody believed her words.
Who couldn't believe such a beautiful creature?
Do you know, what happened next, my child?
You do...
Snow White found her own Prince Charming. He was a sixth son and desperately wanted to be king. With Snow White, his greedy dreams could come true.
Their own fairy tale had a happy ending. They finally got, what they wanted. And at the end of this story the Evil Queen was punished. New king and queen put her to death. But before that ... Before that, my daughter, they made her dance on red-hot iron shoes. Dance until she dropped dead.
I've never forgotten that day. Prince held me, made me watch my mother's torture. I was watching her suffering and crying and hearing her screaming ... And when the Evil Queen had fallen down, bleeding, Snow White ordered to behead her.
Twenty-eight days the head of Evil Queen was hanging on the gates leading to the castle. And ravens picked out her beautiful blue eyes.
I see, you want to ask me. Ask me about the second child, the Evil Queen's daughter... What had they done to her?
They left the girl alive but disfigured her face. Nobody wanted to marry her, so she stayed in the castle with sister and her husband. Prince was her frequent guest. He liked to visit her in a bedroom when he became tired of Snow White. And he also liked the taste of her tears ...
Finally, she ran away. She had been running for three days through the forest until she found a deserted house. There she started a new life. And there was born her little girl.
This is a true story of Snow White. This is a true story of our family. Remember it, my child. Remember and never forget.
Remember the names of our enemies.
Be patient and wait.
Sooner or later we will take our revenge.
