chapter 1: days without you

Shadow's POV

I still hate the witch that done this to my love, if only he could remember me, us, himself, I would be happy, but I should look on the good side of things, at least he is still here, no...no he's not still here with me, all I have is his beauty on the outside, but, nothing on the inside,he doesn't know what most stuff is anymore, like, love,happiness, sadness, all kinds of feelings he doesn't remember. He can remember my name, and he can remember my favorite things, but he can't remember his own name, I curse the day that dreadful witch was born, and the witch I am speaking of, is not a witch. She is a vampire magician, she casted a spell on my dear ruby, to make him forget everything, he forgot most of the stuff, but when she fired that blast of energy at me, it was originally supposed to hit me, but the witch had my ruby tied to a tree, and he cut the rope with his fangs, and then jumped in front of me to save my memory, I still remember his words before he lost everything...he said he loved me, and that was the last thing i had ever hear him say to me, he rarely ever speaks to me now, I try to get him to say something, but he just looks at me weirdly and blinks those gorges emerald eyes at me...today was the day I teach him some stuff, like, feelings for example. I go up to my bedroom and see him sitting on my bed stareing at the wall like he always dose, if it's not the wall, it's the ceiling. I smiled at him as he looked over at me, " may I teach you some things? " I spoke softly to him, he cocked his head to the right I walk towards him, and sit down beside him, I stare into his emerald eyes, " do you know what love means? " asked him he shook his head, he turned his head back to the wall, I frowned, I cupped his chin in my hand, " eye contact, has something to do with love,my ruby. " I Smiled, he stared at me blankly. " what do you feel right now?" He looked as if he was thinking. He shrugged. " oh come on, you have to feel something right now!" I asked playfully, " " ...." my smiled turned into a frown. Then i had an idea, " love is something you feel when you are with somebody, they make you feel special....like, you are their precious gem that no one is allowed to have except you....and...you, would do anything for that person.." he stared at me. " do you get it?" He took his finger to his cheek, then tapped his cheek with it, he then looked a me. " sorta..." I Smiled. " how do you feel when I say this to you, I would do anything for you and if I was to die for you I would gladly die for you, because you are more than just some gem to me, you are....extraordinary..." he looked at me and blinked " how dose that make you feel. " "uhh..." I sighed. " well, then, how dose this make you feel?" I leaned in closer to him, he scooted away from me, " don't worry I am not trying to hurt you...." he nodded then fell back onto his pillow, I grabbed his writs, and held them down to the pillow, he looked at me, like he was scared, I then connected my lips to his, he had his eyes open all through the kiss, I then released him and looked at him he felt his lips, " why did you do that for?" " because I love you!! " " but, why do you love me?" I looked at him, I had the answer that question. " because I fell in love with you when we were little kids, you were beautiful to me then and you're beautiful to me now..." he nodded " but..couldn't you pick someone else beside me? What's so amazing about me?" " you're amazing to me because you're you!! And I would never chance that....ever." he stared at me. " do you love me?" I asked hopefully. " I don't know, I....I think I do.." " well there's a way to know that you do, did you like it when I kissed you? " " that depends, what is a kiss? " " oh it's a wonderful thing, it's where you do this, well what I did to you a minute ago!" " I don't remeber that.." I cocked my head, how could he have forgotten that when it was only a few second ago...." well, a kiss is a thing where you Put you're lips to the others lips, " " like this?" He said as he sweetly pressed his lips to mine, I let my ears fall to my skull, I closed my eyes and smiled, I brought my hands up to his head, he released and I still had his head so closer to mine, our foreheads were touching. His lips were so close to mine, he had just kissed me a second ago, and it still feels like I'm falling in love with him all over again! His plump peach lips were hovering next to mine, I pecked him on the lips, he stared at me," what is this called?" " me falling in love with you all over again.." " what do you mean all over again?" " when we were younger, our parents introduced us to each other, I looked at you and seen a white glow go around you, I though, that's what I want, I want that cobalt vampire!! And, now, I have you," I seen him smile a bit, but it faded when I looked up at him. "Lessions are over for now..."
