Mark POV
I sighed as Sean goofed off with his girlfriend and I sat alone while everyone else had someone. Damn it, why couldn't I fall in love with a girl?
Hey, hey
You, you
I don't like your girlfriendSean. The guy who had me heads over heels for. He didn't even suspect a thing. Even if he did, I knew he wouldn't go out with me. He wasn't fucking gay much less Bi. Why the hell does my brain have to do this? No, why the hell did my heart have to do this?
No way, no way
I think you need someone newWorst part is he was about to be heart broken. She was about to dump him for this OTHER guy. How do I know? She legitimately told us when Sean had gone to bathroom a few days ago. How could she even think about giving him up? He was everything you could wish for. His girlfriend pulled him outside. Here it comes...
Hey, hey
You, you
I could be your boyfriendI pushed in my earbuds making my music loud. Thats how I was when Sean was kissing his girlfriend and everyone else was enjoying themselves with their partners. My plan was to make the music loud enough where I couldn't hear my own thoughts anymore.I turned to the see through glass door to witness what seemed to be them shouting at each other. Sean looked broken while she looked pissed. She stormed off and Sean slammed the door open. I leaned back and closed my eyes. When I opened them I saw Sean sitting next to me with tears in his eyes.
I turned away not knowing if he wanted to be seen like that or not. After a while, I felt someone tap me on the shoulder. I looked and saw the frowning Irish man. He gestured to my earbuds. I pulled them out and rose an eyebrow. "Yeah?" He looked down and rubbed the back of his neck. God, why are you so cute? "Can I listen with you?" His voice was low and sad unlike how happy and loud it usually was. "Sure, why not?" I gave him one and he stuck it in his ear. I hope he likes my music.
Hey, hey
You, you
I know that you like me
No way, no way
No, it's not a secretFinally, everyone wanted to go. I got up when Sean seemed surprised. "What?" I asked stretching. I ran my fingers through my hair. "Uh, I really like your music. Can I, um listen on the way to the hotel?" I blushed and handed him my ipod. "Just don't break it." I joked walking away. We piled into the car and no one mentioned the missing girlfriend. We knew he wouldn't want anyone to notice and we did not wanna tell him we knew beforehand.
He seemed lost in the music and stared out the window. "Hey Mark." My head snapped up to see Wade there smiling. "He's gonna be fine. Just give him time. Hell, you might get a chance." I messed with my selve on my flannel. "Maybe. Just go back to kissing your girlfriend and I'll go back to kissing my hand." I laughed kissing my hand for effect. Wade turned back around laughing as he talked to Molly. I sure was lonely now to think of it.
Hey, hey
You, you
I want to be your boyfriendWe arrived at our hotel and I went to get my ipod when I noticed Sean was already by the elevator. Meh, we're in the same room, so it won't matter. Finally, it was just me and Sean. We were on the top floor anyway. I unlocked the door and left Sean in the bedroom going to take a shower.
Afterwards, I got out and saw Sean passed out with my ipod in his hands. He had tear stains on his cheeks and was still wearing the same clothes. I sighed and threw my own clothes in my suit case. "Oh Sean. You're a mess honey. I'll help as much as I can." I was talking to myself. I did a lot more then you think. I took off his shoes and placed his hat on the nightstand. Sighing, I threw the blanket over him. Okay, that's done.
