"Dad, can we please talk about this later? I haven't seen you in four years and all you want to talk about is my boyfriend?" Sheva asked her father.

"We can talk about everything else this weekend; I just want to know about your boyfriend now." Jared told her as he looked back at her, "Do you have a picture of him?" He asked, still looking back at her, then to her phone.

Sheva quickly became nervous; yes she had pictures of him, well more like with him. The pictures she took with him were ones of him giving her kisses on the cheek and them hugging.

"Umm, I don't think I have a picture of him..." She lied to her father.

"Are you lying to me?" Jared asked his daughter in a tone that made her freak out on the inside.

"The only ones I have are him with me..." She told him quietly.

"Ok, that still doesn't explain why you lied to me."

Sheva looked down and stayed quiet.

"Jared, leave her alone. She had enough of that over the phone. Talk with her about something else or don't talk at all for the rest of the ride." Nadia told him, keeping her eyes on the road.

"Who says I can't ask her about her boyfriend?"

"I did, and it's not too late to take you back to the airport and send you back to Africa."

"Please don't fight, I'm sorry. I will show you a picture of I'm if you promise to not fight with mom for the rest of the ride...." Sheva begged. She thought that they could be in the same area and not fight for once, but she was wrong.

"I would like that very much." Jared said and held his hand out for her phone. Sheva quickly pulled up a picture of her and Chris sitting on the couch and Chris was kissing her on the cheek with his arm on her shoulders. Sheva slowly put the phone in his hand and looked down, waiting for his reaction.

"So I'm guessing you have kissed him before, am I right?" Jared asked. Sheva looked down and nodded her head.

"Another thing you didn't tell me..." He said quietly.

"Jared..." Nadia growled at him. Jared rolled his eyes at his ex-wife and handed the phone back to Sheva. Once she got it back it began to ring. She looked down at who it was and it was the last person she wanted to talk to while she was trapped in a car with her dad; Chris. She didn't want to hang up on him so she thought she would just answer, tell him her situation and hopefully he would understand then they would talk later. She pressed the answer button.

"Hi." She greeted him.

"Hey babe, did you get your dad yet?" He greeted her back. He called her babe every now and then, but not too often.

"Yeah, he's in the car..." She told him slowly.

"Oh, tell him I said hi then." Chris told her.

"Dad, the person I'm talking to said hi..." Once she said it both guys chuckled.

"Put him on speaker, let him tell me." Jared told Sheva. She told Chris she was going to put him on speaker and he was ok with it. She put him on speaker and sat the phone on the seat next to her.

"Ok, you're on speaker..." Sheva told her boyfriend.

"Hi everyone!" Chris said over the phone.

"Hi Chris, how are you?" Nadia asked him.

"I'm great, how about you?"

"I am also great, thanks for asking." Nadia replied with a smile.

"Hello Chris." Jared's deep voice greeted over the phone.

"Hello Mr. Alomar, how are you?" He asked once again. Jared told him her was fine and asked him how he was. Chris told him the same thing he told Nadia.

"Well, I have to go. Talk to you later Sheva, love you." Sheva's eyes popped out of her head when Chris said that. She didn't know if he forgot he was on speaker or if he did that on purpose. She looked at her dad who was turned around in his seat, waiting to hear what she was going to say.

"Love you too, see ya..." She said slowly and quietly. After he said see ya back to her she hung up the phone. Jared sighed and turned back around in his seat.

"I'm sorry..." Sheva said quietly to her dad.

"You don't have to be sorry Sheva." Jared told his worried daughter. That was the only thing he said and the rest of the ride was quiet until they stopped at a restaurant. While they munched on burgers the whole family talked about what has happened over the past four years. To Sheva it felt like everything was like it used to be. It felt like the happy days from when she was younger, just to watch her mother and father make each other laugh and have her cuddled in the middle of them made her wish she could keep that moment forever.

But sadly she knew it wouldn't last long...
