After the trio ate at the restaurant they got right back on the road. The car ride was quiet and eventually Sheva fell asleep.

By the time Sheva woke up, the car was being backed up into the drive way of their house.

"Are you awake back there?" Jared asked his once sleeping daughter.

"No, I'm still sleeping." She basically replied as she rested her head on the seat belt and closed her eyes once again.

"We should just leave her in the car if she is so tired, Jared." Nadia joked as she grabbed her purse and opened her car door.

"Or we could just drag her out by her feet into the house." He joked along with her.

"What?!" Sheva screeched as her head shot up off the seat belt. "That got her!" Jared laughed as he got out of the car and opened Sheva's door. Sheva tiredly grabbed her backpack and exited out of the comfortable car. Nadia unlocked the door to the house and Sheva dropped her backpack on the floor and plopped down on the couch. Clyde and Nia were out somewhere.

"Nice place you got here." Jared complimented as he sat on the couch next to his daughter.

"Let me go put something more comfortable on, the Redfield's are coming over!" Nadia said as she did a 'raise the roof' motion and headed upstairs.

"I get to meet your boyfriend..." Jared said as he looked at his daughter's expression. "How do you feel about that?"

"I'm a little nervous but for the most part I'm excited. Chris is a great guy, he treats me well." Sheva told her dad with a smile.

"We will see about that."

"Dad, if you don't like him, you won't make up break up, will you?" Sheva asked nervously.

"I don't know, I depends on how much I don't like him." He told her as he relaxed on the couch.

Sheva stayed quiet for a moment, she hoped her dad would be reasonable. She loved Chris with all her heart and couldn't be without him. Sheva jumped up from the couch once she heard a car pull up and the sound of doors closing.

Sheva walked over to the door and sure enough saw Clara's truck in the parking spot in front of the house and saw the three Redfield's making their way towards the door. Clara was just about to knock but then the door swung open and Sheva stood there with a small grin on her face. "They're here Momma!" Sheva yelled to her mother who was making her way downstairs. Sheva turned back towards the door and let the three in. She closed the door and gave Claire and Clara welcoming hugs.

"Where is my hug?" Chris jokingly asked as he pulled Sheva into a hug. Sheva looked up at him and gave him a quick peck on the lips, totally forgetting her dad was sitting on the couch. Jared cleared his throat once he got uncomfortable with how long the two were hugging. The two quickly let go of each other and Sheva took that as a hint to introduce them to her father.

"Guys this is my father, dad this is Mrs. Redfield, Claire and... my boyfriend Chris." Sheva introduced them to each other. Jared stood up and shook the two ladies hands then stopped at Chris.

"So you're the great Chris Redfield, huh?" Jared asked with a grin as he held out his hand for Chris to shake.

"Yes sir, well I don't know about great..." Chris nervously replied as he shook the taller man's hand. "I can see your good on manners, that's a start." Jared told him as he let go of his hand.

"How about we all take a seat?" Sheva suggested as she grabbed her nervous boyfriend's hand and led him to one of the couches. They all took their seats and there was an awkward pause.

"Ok, I'm just going to get to the questioning. First-," Jared began but was cut off by Nadia and Sheva.

"Jared, don't start..." Nadia warned. "Please don't..." Sheva added on.

"No, it's ok, I will answer any question you have Mr. Alomar." Chris bravely told him. And he did. He answered every single question truthfully, and Jared had no reason not to like Chris, he hated the fact that his daughter actually could find a guy he liked. But he was happy for her somewhere deep inside.

"Well Sheva, I think you found a good one." Jared admitted to his once nervous daughter but now she was elated. She was so excited that she grabbed Chris' head and gave him a kiss in front of everyone. This time Jared didn't interrupt.

The six of them sat in the living room talking for hours and hours. Jared and Nadia told embarrassing stories of Sheva when she was young and Clara did the same for Chris and Claire. The teens all sat there and listened to their parents talk and take turns talking about them and even though they were embarrassed they were also happy that everything went so well with the boyfriend thing.

It got late and they were all standing outside saying their goodbyes and see you laters. Right before the Redfield's was about to leave Jared called out to Chris.

"Yes sir?" Chris asked as he approached his girlfriend's dad.

"I just want to say... welcome to the family, Chris." Jared told him with a warm smile.

"Thank you, you will not regret it." Chris told him excitedly. Jared watched as Chris hugged his daughter one more time before he left.

"Are you ready to go, Jared?" Nadia asked as she grabbed her keys. "Yep," was Jared's simple response as he walked to the car. Sheva followed them to the car and hopped in. Nadia drove them to the hotel Jared was staying in, dropped him off and headed back home so Sheva could get ready for bed.

Sheva sat in the back seat thinking about how well tonight went. She was so grateful that her dad decided to be reasonable with Chris. Sheva drifted off into sleep thinking about how lucky she actually was. Life was good...
