All rights go to ABC Family. This is for the "Songspiration" challenge, and the rules were to use Taylor Swift's song Style as an inspiration for a one shot. I'm technically only using the first line, but I couldn't figure out how to use much else, and really wanted to enter. So, without further ado, I present Style.
Midnight, you come and pick me up no headlights.
Images flashes much too fast for Kirsten to understand them. It went from death to monsters, from fearful to terrifying. Gunshots went off, bombs could be heard. Yelling and screaming never stopped, and Kirsten wasn't sure how much of it was the dream and how much was her.
Her eyes suddenly shot open, and she sat up with start. Her hair was plastered to her neck and head, cold sweat covering Kirsten's body. She waited for a minute, listening for her roommate, until she remembered that Camille had gone to Linus's.
Letting it sink in, Kirsten sank back down into her bed, a wave of what she could only describe as terror washing over her. If she had to pick her friends, she wouldn't have picked Camille at first glance, but she had become a a trust worthy and true friend after she openly came into the Stitchers program. Camille also didn't mind waking up in the middle of the night to come check on her screaming roommate.
Kirsten's mind wouldn't work, fear running it's course. She looked over at the clock on her nightstand. 12:08. Picking up her phone beside the clock, she clicked the contact she needed. Kirsten wasn't sure just how irritated he would be, but hopefully the situation would overrule any frustration.

Cameron was dreaming peacefully when he was woken by the buzzing of his phone. His eyes shot open, and he looked at the time before picking up the phone. 12:08.
Seriously?
Picking up the phone, Cameron didn't bother to check the caller I.D. "Why am I getting a call at midnight, exactly?"
Cameron became wide awake when he heard what sounded like a choked back sob from a voice he recognized. "Kirsten? Kirsten, what's wrong?"
"Sorry, sorry. This was a bad idea." The phone call ended, but Cameron wasn't having it. Getting out of bed, he turned on the light. It hurt his eyes for a moment, but he was able to get his glasses on and get dressed.
Grabbing his car keys, Cameron headed out of his apartment. This was going to be a long night.
Upon entering Echo Park, Cameron turned off his headlights, trying his best not to wake Kirsten's neighbor's.
When he arrived at Kirsten's house, he hesitated before knocking. It was a real good possibility that she didn't come to the door, a good possibility that she ignored him altogether. Pushing his fear back though, he knocked rapidly, almost in the same manner Kirsten did.
She came to the door quite quickly, her eyes wide with fear. They seemed to grow with sadness at the sight of the brunette. "You shouldn't have come here," she whispered.
Cameron didn't respond to that, instead asking a question. "May I come in?" Kirsten nodded, her eyes falling to her feet. The blonde retreated inside, leaving the door open. Cameron entered the small house, closing the door behind him. He found Kirsten sitting on the couch, her eyes unfocused.
Sitting down beside her, Cameron took her hand. It was a brave gesture, and not one he would have done under other circumstances. Kirsten didn't reject him though, in fact she curled into him. Cameron placed his other hand around her, holding her tightly.
"Kirsten, can you tell me what happened?"
The stitcher stayed quiet, refusing to speak. Cameron decided not to press any further, instead just let the two of them sit there, the only noise being their breathing.
Finally deciding to break the silence, Cameron went cliche. "How about we do what most everyone else does after a nightmare, and warm up some milk?" He tried to sound as cheery as possible, but he could tell enthusiasm wasn't going to work. Kirsten did respond though, which was definitely improvement.
"Out of milk, and the microwave is broken."
Cameron nodded and hopped off the couch, taking Kirsten with him. "We'll just go back to my place then." Kirsten silently nodded, her eyes still showing fear.
Looking at her apparel, Cameron noticed she was already fully dressed. Deciding not to question it, he lead his friend out of her house, and then into his car. He drove off back to his apartment, headlights once again off.

Unlocking his door, Cameron wasted no time getting Kirsten inside and seated on his couch, making sure she was okay before going to his kitchen. He put a glass of milk in the microwave, and silently waited for the machine to go off.
His thoughts wandered to the blonde sitting in his living room. What could she have possibly seen that scared her? Cameron had seen things disturb her, but she had never feared anything. He broke out of his train of thought when the microwave timer went off. Grabbing the milk, Cameron headed into the living room.
"Kirsten?" From behind the couch, Cameron didn't see his friend, but quickly found her after circling around. She was asleep, her head on the arm of the couch. Setting the glass of milk down, Cameron lifted her into his arms.
Walking into his bedroom, he put her down gently onto the bed. She had already taken off her shoes, and that made Cameron wonder if she planned to sleepover here. Forgetting the thought, he pulled the covers over the snoozing blonde, and silently left the room. Maybe she wouldn't slap him this time.
And that's a wrap! So I'm going to do one more one shot before taking a break, and I have tons of different prompts. Instead of deciding myself, I want you guys to pick! So here they are;
1: The gang plays Truth or Dare, which quickly turns into an all around game of Dare. Kirsten is dared to kiss Cameron, then act like nothing happened. Note; If you guys pick this one, send in dares with it.
2: Songfic for Wonderland by Taylor Swift.
3: Songfic for Say Something by Great Big World
4: Cameron has a dream of himself and Kirsten, but is woken up by said blonde. Note; Mature.
5: Kirsten is in danger and pretty much drops off the face of the Earth because of it. Note; Requested by thatwriterchickgirl.
6: Maybe have something happen to Camille. Note; Requested by BOOKHANGOVER13.
Comment the number of which prompt you pick. Whichever one has the most votes will be the next one shot.
