Chapter 1

I finish painting my nails and they look amazing if I do say so myself. Light pink and silver! My phone starts vibrating, telling me that Zoella has uploaded a new video. I hastily run down the hallway to grab the orphanage laptop. There's only one and there are 50 of us kids. But I grab if and triumphantly walk back to my room. It's a tiny attic room but I love it, to me it's the only home I've ever known. Both my parents died when I was a baby, so I never really knew them.

I quickly turn on the laptop and go onto YouTube to watch the new video. It's a lush haul video! My favourite type of Zoella video. But, this ones different. At the end Zoe says she and Alfie have a huge surprise which they'll show us tomorrow. I so want to know what it is- maybe they're getting married, I hope they are as they are such a cute couple.

Familiar footsteps rattle the room and i have to hide the laptop and pretend to be asleep. If Ms Green catches anyone awake then we're in so much trouble.
