Its july 25th 2013, its my first day at the fire station. My stomach is in knots.. I meet chife boden out the front.. "hi im leslie shay".. "nice to meet you im chife boden".
They walk in side, "listen up everyone. We have a new paramedic, leslie shay". "Hi im Gabrielle dawson paramedic in charge". Next thing....
Ambulance 61, truck 81 squad 3 house fire 164 Balmoral road...
On arrival, casey got out the truck. "Herman mills vent the roof. Otis cruz your with me". As they entered the burning building. Otis looked to the left an there was a young girl, crying out for help. Oit ran straight to her, the little girl said her mum and brother where up stairs. Cacey an cruz headed up stairs. While otis carryed her out.
"put her here", "dawson said" as giving her oxygen. Otis went back in the the house when he did, he heard an alarm going off..As he got closer he saw cruz laying unconscious, with no sin of casey. Squad 3 finally arrived. Severide cap and tony all rushed in. As they got inside the saw otis draging cruz out. "Where's casey"? Severide yelled.. i don't now.
Severide heard a voice. "Im over here"... Severide an tony went over there was the mother an son. They help them out, cap continued looking for casey.
Otis was back in helping cap look. When all of a sudden. Cacey appears out of nowhere. They looked closer at him. He was holding a little baby boy. "Cacey yelled i put the mum an her son in the bathroom i had to go back for the baby"! Cap replyed "there safe dawson and shay are looking at them now." They all walked out together. Casey handed shay the baby. Then dawson and shay drove to chicago med.
Back at the fire house, shay walked past the squad table, she over heard severide saying he needs a house mate.. well I'm looking for a house mate.. Severide agreed to give it a trial run..
As there shife came to a end. "Shay asked severide, if she can start moving her stuff in right away". They worked into the night.
After shay and severide, had finshed the house.. shay said " would you like drink kelly?"
"That would be good" replyed kelly. As they got talking they decide to make a contract..
Lets agree never to get in each others business. But to always be there for each other now matter what...
The next day back at work, they where all sitting around talk when then the bells went.. Ambulance 61, people in distress 144 champion road. They got to the door as the distressd nana ran over to them. " i dont now what happened i looked Way for a split second when i came back he was just laying there not moving" "whats his name dawson said" "sam it's sam" they got him into the ambo. When shay sore a big red dot on his foot "looks like a bee sting" dawson said. "Oh thank god so he will be okay?" "Yes he will be just fine" shay replyed..
On the way back to the station, shay looked over "do dawson do you want to get a coffee?" "Shore why not" "so dawson tell me how long you and lieutenant casey been seeing each other" "oh where not"....dawson replyed. "Oh sorry, you should be his into you". " no where just friend" dawson said.. shay just smiled. An said " okay".. " we should get back" dawson said.
Back at the station, "Canadian whats for lunch" much said. " what ever you get mouch, im not cooking today". Otis laugh.. bells go 'we got a visitor in the house! As the walked through the doors the call look "i don't believe it! What are you doing here?" Shay said.. "Well i heard your the new paramedic so i thought i would come say hello, we didn't leave on good terms i was going for a chat" Clare's said. Shay just look suprised, " hi im gabby", "Clare's," and "im kelly" "hi kelly nice to meet you".
"Come on lets go outside. what are you really doing here clear?." " i miss you i thought we could talk." "Look nows not a good time im at work, i cant get into this now, we can talk tomorrow morning when my shift ends."
Shay walks back in, "so shay who was that?" Mills asked. "she is my ex" shay said as she walked out.. dawson and severide followed her, "shay stop!, are you okay?" Kelly said. " i dont want to talk about it, just leave it." Shay replyed. "You wont to go get some lunch shay?" Gabby said? "Yeah that will be good," Ambulance 61 truck 51 squad 3, car crash on moppet road..
As the pull in to the accident, shay said "omg thats Clare's car!" She got out an ran to the car, "clear can you hear me!" But no reply. "Watch out shay", severide said, ill cut the door off so you can get to her" dawson enter the other door. Dawson reach over to see if she could find a pulse. "Shay hunny, there no pules. Im sorry but she is gone.
