It was 8 o'clock on a Saturday morning and Jake layed in bed and before he opened his eyes he turned onto his side to give his wife a good morning kiss on the cheek, but then he realized she wasn't there. He opened his eyes and sat up in his bed and looked around the room. No one was in sight.
"Marley?"
Still nothing..he rubbed his eyes and was about to get out of bed when all of a sudden the bedroom door opend and in they appeared.
"Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear daddy, Happy Birthday to you" Marley and their daughter sang while carrying in some breakfest.
Jake couldn't help but smile. Marley set down the tray in front of him and sat next to him on the bed while their daughter jumped up from the bottom of the bed and sat on the other side of Jake.
"I hope you like your breakfest daddy, it was my idea and me and mommy got up extra early to make it."
"Aw well thank you Bella, it looks really good." He said pulling her into a hug.
"Bells why don't you go get dressed so daddy can relax before he has to leave."
Once Bella left the room, Marley went and closed the bedroom door and went back over to the bed and moved the tray onto the stand next to the bed and sat back down next to her husband.
"So are you ready for some of your present?" Marley asked with a huge smile on her face.
"Of course" Jake said pulling his wife into his lap.
Marley giggled a little and leaned in and put her hands on his chest and gave him a deep kiss. Jake moved his hand to cup her cheek and while the other rested on her knee. He loved getting all this attention on his birthday. After they pulled apart he moved his forehead up against hers.
"I wish I didn't have to go into work. I would much rather stay here and spend the day with my girls."
"I know" Marley smiled kissing his forehead. "But you don't have a choice, but don't worry because we'll have tonight and all of tomorrow to celebrate with you."
"Still sucks, but your right." Jake smiled "Well as much as this kills me, I have to get up and get ready"
"Okay" Marley said with a pout.
Jake ate his breakfest and got ready and left by 9. Once Marley and Bella got dressed for the day, it was time to start their project. They ran to the store to get their supplies.
"Okay Bells, I'm going to give you a really important job...I want you to go get the presents that we got daddy and bring them out here into the living room."
"Okay mommy" Bella said excited.
While Bella was getting the presents, Marley started preparing the food. While waiting for the food to be ready, she decorated their apartment and helped Bella wrap the presents. After spending all day setting up, all they had to do was wait for the guests and change into nicer clothes.
"Already sweetie, now all we have to is get ready, so go pick out your favorite dress to wear for daddy." Marley said sweetly, kissing her daughters cheek.
When Bella ran off into her room, Marley worked on some last minute things and headed to the bedroom to get ready. Finally when it hit 5 o'oclock, the guests started to show up. Becides their family, everyone from Glee came. They all kept in contact since high school ended 6 years ago. After an hour of waiting, Jake finally came home. Once he opened the door, he turned on the light and of course everone yelled surprise, with Bella running up to Jake and Marley behind her.
"Wow, this is great" Jake said picking up his litte girl in his arms. When Marley got to him, he wrapped his free arm around her waist and pecked her lips. Then the party had offically begun.

Once it hit 11 o'olock, everyone left and Marley and Jake were ready for some quiet time, which wasn't hard to get considering Bella fell alseep a few hours after the party started. Once they were in their bedroom, they had changed into their pajamas and got into bed, Marley ran out into the kitchen and grabbed some more of his brithday present. When she came back in, he was very excited to see chocolate covered strawberries on a tray with glasses of wine to go with it. Jake got in the middle of the bed and opened his legs so Marley could sit between them. Once they got comforable, they turned on a movie and enjoyed their dessert. They loved feeding each other and being all curled up. After they finished eating, they layed down and Marley curled up next to her husband and wrapped her arm around his stomach and Jake wrapped an arm around his wife, moving his hand up and down her arm.
"This was a great birthday" He said kissing her head.
"I'm glad you liked it, Bella was really excited about it" Marley giggled.
"Yeah, she's perfect..just like you." Jake pulled Marley in tighter to him.
"I'd say more like you babe."
Jake smiled and kissed Marley before turning off the movie.
"I love you hun." Jake said before kissing Marley again.
"I love you too." She smiled kissing her husband back.
