Isabelle sat alone in her seat in the corner of the dreary dark classroom, as the rain attacked the window as if it was trying to invade the classroom with its cool, wet embrace, freeing those inside from the hot, dry, stale air of the afternoon. Isabelle wasn’t a pretty girl, but she wasn’t an ugly one either. She was rather plain, and had a gloomy aura about her. This might have been the reason that no one in the class would choose to sit next to her. Nobody quite knew what was up with Isabelle, and nobody really cared to find out. It was rumored that Isabelle had escaped from a mental asylum before coming to Gloomsdale, where she was locked up for hacking both of her parents to pieces. It was also rumored that she had killed her whole family, and that they just sit in her house, laying around, already decomposed, and now are skeletons. No matter what the true story behind this girl was, she did have an aura about her that drove off everyone in the world.
Everyone that is, until Daisy moved to town. Daisy was a sweet girl, always wore bright, shiny clothes and had a chipper attitude about life. She had never quite understood how, or why, the other kids would cast out Isabelle, but she was determined to become her friend.
One day Daisy approached Isabelle, and invited her over to her house after school. Isabelle, not used to this level of kindness, rejected the proposal initially, but after Daisy pled and whined for her to consider the proposal, she complied.
After school, Isabelle and Daisy sat next to each other on the bus, while everyone else scurried at least 10 feet away from the pair, and murmured and speculated on Daisy’s latent insanity, some even daring to call her crazier than Isabelle herself. Daisy, just as chipper as she always was, brushed off the insults.
Finally, after minutes of awkward silence Daisy attempted to strike up a conversation with Isabelle. “So, how old are you?” Daisy cheerfully asked Isabelle, as a genuine expression of shock came over Isabelle’s pale white cheeks. “15” said Isabelle, as she blushed, her snow white cheeks turning to a bright shade of red. Daisy chuckled and replied “well I’m 16.”
Minutes had passed before Daisy asked a second question “So what do your parents do?” A look of shock and surprise overcame Isabelle, which was quickly replaced with sadness. Isabelle sobbed softly, and then sucked up her tears and replied “my parents are dead.” Daisy, upset that she had upset Isabelle, quickly apologized for her inadvertently rude question, and changed the subject. They started discussing things such as life in Gloomsdale, school, and boys. Isabelle had revealed that she always liked the football captain, Larry Stillwater. Daisy had concocted a plot to cheer up Isabelle.
After hanging out at Daisy’s house, Isabelle lost much of her gloomy aura, and started to become a generally normal person. Still, nobody knew anything about her home life, or if she even had one. Months past, and finally one day something amazing happened to Isabelle. Her number one crush, Larry, had come up to her and struck up a conversation. Larry agreed with almost everything Isabelle had to say, and they finally agreed to hang out together at his house, with Daisy.
The day of the date had come and Isabelle and Daisy arrived together. They rang the doorbell, and Isabelle’s heart started pounding 1000 mph when she saw the tall, buff, handsome Larry come to the door. Larry greeted them with a smile and led them to the living room.
Isabelle and Larry instantly hit it off and started chatting up a storm, as Daisy sat aside, pleased that her plan had gone as anticipated. Suddenly Larry realized that he had forgot to get some drinks and snacks for the date. Daisy, kind and selfless as she always is, took up the responsibility and drove off to get the libations.
Instantly, the look of kindness left Larry’s eyes, and a gleam of malice over took. Larry locked the door behind Daisy and approached Isabelle, who by now had been laughing. She looked up and noticed the changed expression.
“What’s wrong?” Isabelle asked, a tad bit worried. “Nothing’s wrong” the evil eyed Larry replied as he chuckled. “I have to choices for you, either you give it up and let me fuck you, or I’ll rape you, and then kill you!”
A look of betrayal and shock overcame Isabelle’s face, and she attempted to run, but was tackled and overpowered by the muscular and athletic Larry. Just as Larry had undone his pants, Daisy had pulled up. Daisy, who knew not of what was going on in the house, had forgotten her wallet in the house. She was just about to ring the doorbell when she heard a blood curdling scream come from the house. Daisy, in a panic, started banging on the door. Finally, after minutes of pounding on the door, Daisy decided to call the police.
When the police had arrived, Daisy ran to them screaming. She was worried about Isabelle. The police pounded on the door, and when no response came from the other side, they kicked down the door. Inside, there was signs of a struggle, and blood drops were everywhere. The puddles of blood just kept on getting larger until they got into the living room. In there, the mutilated and dismembered body of Larry laid on the floor. Daisy, horrified, screamed for Isabelle with no response.
After minutes of silence, there was a loud crashing noise upstairs in the master bedroom. The police went upstairs, only to be attacked by a being with super human strength and a blood curdling cry. Daisy, who was curious and horrified went upstairs to investigate. There lay the bodies of all the police officers, mutilated and dismembered just as Larry was.
Then something, or someone, fell out in front of Daisy. There was Isabelle, blood covering her face, passed out on the floor. Daisy, scared for her life, ran out of the house and called the police yet again.
A year has passed, and Daisy is still scarred from the incident, and from the whispers she hears at night. Voices in her head tell her to kill her parents, and they tell her that someday she will be Nobody’s Daughter, just as Isabelle was.
One night, after she had a dream about Isabelle becoming one with her, she woke up with blood on her face and shirt, and a taste of flesh on her palate. Worried, she rushed through her house to find the mutilated and dismembered remains of her whole family. She was now Nobody’s Daughter, and she truly feels the pain Isabelle felt.
The next day, a gloomy girl with a depressing aura had moved into Hudgens Ville. Nobody knew much about her, all they knew were rumors, and all they knew was to stay away.
