It all started with a pair of goggles...

Chapter 1

Me and Haruka Nanase have been pin-pals for like...Ever.

We have never met face to face, just paper to paper.

It all started when I found a pair of goggles at a swim meet over in Japan. It had the address in them so I sent them back, Along with a note. We have been writing ever since.

We talked about swimming, Which we both love, And friends. Well, she talks about friends...I don't really have 'friends' besides her.

Well, I'm finally moving to Iwatobi, Japan! I can't wait to see Haruka! We set up a place and time to meet, I just hope I can find it...

--- Le time skip. ---

I walk threw the airport doors and head toward the bench I am suppose to meet  Haruka at...But the only person there is a cute, muscular teenager with black hair and deep blue eyes...  

Haruka's brother...? Maybe her boyfriend...? But she never mentioned a brother, nor a boyfriend...

I walk up to the boy. "Hello. I'm (Y/N) (L/N)..." I begin, then his lips curve up into a smile and he hugs me. 

"It's nice to finally meet you," He says.

I blink. "Ha...Ru...Ka?" I ask and he nods.

"I go by Haru. So, You'll be staying at my place?" He asks as he lets me go. "Yes," I answer. We get into his car  and he starts to drive. 

"You'll be going to Iwatobi high school?" He asks. I nod once again. "Then you already have some friends there," He says. "Friends..." I repeat the word. It might as well be a foreign word. 

"Yeah. Friends," He says and looks at me curiously. "Will you be joining the swim club?" He asks yet another question. 

"Swim...Club?" I ask the question this time. My (E/C) eyes light up at the words.

"If I remember right, You only do freestyle, Like me, Right?" He asks.

  So many questions...

"Yes. And I will be joining the swim club."

"Good," He says, glancing at me out of the corner of his eye.

"I hope I make it in at tryouts..." I mumble to myself nervously as we pull into his driveway.

Author-Chan: "Hahaha... Did you like how you thought Haru was a girl? ; u ;  

Ah... I love you guys... ^^ Even if you thought Haru was a girl due to his name. xD"
