*The next morning Tara wakes up to Nurse Carol giving Maya medicine through her IV bag* Tara: *looks at Maya* nurse Carol: I am deeply sorry that you're going through honestly. I couldn't imagine what you're going through because this beautiful little girl reminds me of my daughter she's also 4 she's my whole heart. Tara: thank you so much I really appreciate it, I just want her to wake up. I miss her so much. Nurse Carol: I definitely understand hun but I have some good news and bad news which one would you like to hear first? Tara: the bad news please Nurse Carol: the bad news is Maya will have to stay here for a week because her chart sees that her brain is a little swollen and she has broken 3 ribs and fractured her arm. Tara: omg my poor baby I promise I will do anything to save you. Nurse Carol: the good news is while you were sleeping last night she started to move her arm a little bit so she is making process and I see that she will wake up real soon and after a week the doctor and I will begin the discharge papers if she wakes up. Tara: *her heart was fluttered with joy because she never thought her baby girl would even move due to the fact that she looks dead* Nurse Carol: I was excited when I seen her move her arm because I know she looks unresponsive right now but I'm glad she's making process. Tara: I am happy as well I pray every single night that god makes sure she wakes up because I can't imagine having to put my daughter in the ground. Nurse Carol: I definitely agree with you because I couldn't imagine doing the same thing. Tara: thank you for being there for her during this time it must be hard for you to see kids in her condition sometimes. How can I ever repay you? You never left her alone. Nurse Carol: it is hard seeing kids her age be in these types of predicaments because I've always wondered if my kid was in this condition I wouldn't want my kids alone. Tara: *hugs nurse carol* thank you again Nurse carol: *hold her* you're welcome and you don't have to pay me back, I would only want you and Maya to be okay. I want to give you my personal number so I can keep up with Maya if you don't mind. Tara: I have no issues with that Carol I'll just grab my phone so you can put your number in. *Tara grabs her phone and Carol outs her number in*.
A week later*****
*Nurse Carol walks into Maya's room and sees that her eyes are open and screams** Tara hears a scream coming from down the hall and she runs to the noise* Tara: omg is everything okay? I heard screaming I wanted to make sure nothing happened *Nurse Carol points at Maya* *tara's head turns and see her beautiful baby girl awake* Tara: Maya can you hear me baby?
