How I met Rachel. cp 1

Max and I always had a special bond. Even when we were kids, I couldn't spend a day without hearing her voice, or seeing her. I can never imagine my life without Max. But when Max moved away, she took a piece of my heart, which explains all the cruel and dumb things I did. I became a monster without Max, careless, stubborn and lifeless. Until I met someone, who made me feel alive again. I met Rachel.

It was a beautiful summer night, the sky was blue, the moon was full and the breeze was chilly. I was driving back from the bar, when almost hit someone. I jumped out of the car.

"Hey! are you okay?, I asked nervously.

"Yeah! Thanks for not running me over!", she said sarcastically.

"Yeah, No problem, are you hurt?"

"I don't think so", she said as she tried to stand up.

"Ouch!"

"What happened?"

"I think I sprained my ankle.."

"Shi!t I am so sorry. Here, let me take you to the hospital"

"That won't be necessary"

"No please let me, that the least I can do for you."

"Okay."

I picked her up and gently put her in my car. She was very nice despite the fact that I almost ran her over.

Do I know you? She asked with her eyes full of curiosity.

uh.. I don't know but you do seem familiar.

"That's it!", she yelled "I have seen you in Blackwell Academy a few times"

"Yeah well, I used to go there" I replied.

What happened? Why did you quit?

I didn't quit i was expelled.

Why? she asked with concern

Hey I don't mean to be rude, but I barely know you and I don't talk about my person life to strangers.

"Oh I am sorry. That's okay. I will respect your privacy. My name is Rachel by the way! What's yours?

I am Chloe.

Nice to meet you Chloe. she said as I arrived the hospital.

I parked my car and immediately took Rachel to the emergency section. I was nervous, what if she broke her leg. I would definitely go to jail. Fuck how can I be so careless. I could have killed someone tonight. After several hours of waiting, a nurse called me in. She handed me a few prescriptions for Rachel and asked me to follow her inside. Even though Rachel only sprained her ankle, I was still nervous, what if she calls the police.

You can take your girlfriend home now, a strange voice spoke behind me.

I turned around and realized it was the doctor.

"Make sure she doesn't workout so hard." he said to me.

"Yeah, I will", I said hesitantly.

You can take your girlfriend home now." he said

I played along because I didn't want to go to jail.

After Rachel and I let the hospital, she bursted out laughing.

"Oh my God! You should have seen your face when the doctor called you my girlfriend"

I laughed as well " Yeah I freaked out at first but then I was relived. Thanks for not telling them I almost kill you"

"It's okay, Chloe, mistakes happen. and you seem like a good person."

Still Thank you! I really appreciate it!

Just thank you? No drinks?, she asked with her puppy eyes.

I just came from the bar. As you can see I am pretty drunk. Perhaps some other day?

"Great!", she replied. "Here's my number, call me!"

The rest of the ride home Rachel and I had a blast talking. We has so much in common.

"Stop here, that's my house" she said.

"Okay", I replied as I stopped the car.

"Could you do the honor, and carry me to my room, please?

I smiled and said "sure can!"

We went inside her beautiful house, and up the wooden stairs and into her room to the left. I put Rachel on her bed.

"Good night!" I said as i tried to leave but a force on the opposite side held me back.

"It was Rachel, with her tender soft hand. You seem pretty tired and drunk, I think it's best if you stay the night."

'um.." I hesitated.

"Oh come on! It's for your best.

"Okay!" I replied and headed towards the couch.

"what are you doing, that couch is small, come sleep on the bed" she said as she patted on the bed next to her.

"No its fine. Plus you are hurt, you need to rest"

"Chloe! get your ass here. I am much better now."

I finally gave up and crash the night there.
