Hey wattpaders!!

Next chapter's up, I'm going to try and post more for a bit because my school year ended! YAY!

The song is something I recently discovered with my friends and we LOVE IT!!

Anyways, here's the story and hope you enjoy it!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

‘I see you driving round town with the girl I love,

And I’m like forget you.

I guess the change in my pocket wasn’t enough,

And I’m like forget you,

And forget her too.’

The corner of ‘my’ mouth turned up as the youtube video of ‘me’ singing faded and Ellen DeGeneres came on the screen.

“This youtube sensation is a mystery to the public. From late December last year, she has started posting videos of her singing various songs, including some of her own. And now, she has broken the world record by getting 1 million views within the time span of 2 hour!! Many celebrities has attempted on locating this youtube sensation, however every single search ended in disappointment. Will she ever be discovered or will this mystery, stay a mystery?”

By now, I had a massive grin on my face, but my happy morning hour had to end with my stepbrother screaming a new order.

“Ashleigh!!! Get me my soda this instant!” my grin soon turned into a frown as I stood up to go to the kitchen.

Half way down the hallway to my stepbrother’s room, the can of soda water in my hand, the door to my right swung open and my mom stepped out, wearing a turquoise bathrobe, and a towel wrapped firmly around her head.

“Ashleigh didn't I tell you to turn the boiler on a good half hour ago?” I stared at her in confusion.

“But mother, I did turn the boiler on.”

“Do NOT talk back to your mother, just go and check my tub and see what you forgot to do!” she screamed. I quickly scrambled into her bathroom and checked the knobs of the bathtub. As usual, she had only turned on the ‘cold’ and not the ‘hot’ I sighed in disbelief and turned the ‘hot’ knob on. I then stood up and let mother inspect the temperature of the water. After a silent minute, she stood up and gave me a nod of approval. I silently bowed and left the bathroom and ran to my stepbrother’s room.

The second I knocked on the door, it was swung open and my stepbrother snatched the can out of my hand and closed the door, leaving just enough time to see the horrifying mountain of laundry.

I made my way back to my room when I heard a car horn go off once, twice, the grin that was once gone, came back as I dashed into my room to get my bag. I continued to run down the hallway and out the huge front door.

I punched in the code on the panel on a pole, and waited for the main gate to slowly open to reveal my bestest friend in the world, waiting inside her ‘babe’ I pulled open the faded blue pickup truck and slipped inside.

“Hey Ams, sorry I was late, Jack and mom ordered me around again…”

“No problemo Ashy, but we wouldn’t want to be late for our first day back to school as Seniors! But, when are your parents going to stop using you as their personal slave?” I sighed, knowing that day will be, never, well unless I moved out that is.

By now, you guys are probably pretty confused about how my life goes on. I don’t blame you. My life is, wel… complex.

My names Ashleigh Dunnet, daughter of ex-drummer in a famous band called Deathly Angel, Lucas Price and the owner of a well known Performing Arts school, Juliana’s Performing Arts Academy, Juliana Price. Now you’re probably wondering, ‘Why the hell do not have the same surname as my parents?’ well the answer’s simple, I kept my old surname. My biological dad John Dunnet, was the vocalist of Deathly Angel, he passed away just about 10 years ago. It was actually my fault… If I hadn’t begged for the big strawberry shortcake sold at the mall, he would still be alive, and there will be no Jack or Lucas. Jack is my stepbrother; he was just a bonus to my mother’s 2nd marriage. He really was a pain in the butt. Especially when he doesn’t get a roll in a movie or TV show after an audition. He was semi-famous, not Brad Pitt famous, but just famous enough to be asked for an autograph every once in a while on the streets.
