RECAP-I decided to make smoothies for everyone. I felt very mean today, so I put hot sauce in them.
"Hey, so I didn't want one, but I made some for you." They all said how sweet I was, then, at the same time, they took a big gulp. They spit it out all over the table.
"Eris, your gonna get it!" Dawson yelled. I ran away and Dawson followed me. He grabbed me and turned me around.
"What are you gonna do to me?" I cringed.
"This." He kissed me.
----------------------------
"Oh, um, that wasn't what I was e-expecting." I stuttered. He backed up a few steps, winked at me, then walked away. I stood there like an idiot for a minute, before chasing after him. I looked around the kitchen, no Dawson.
"Um, where did Dawson go?" I asked. Erin looked up at me, gulping a cup of milk. He set the milk down.
"He got his bags and rushed out the door, mumbling something under his breath." Erin shrugged it off, as if it was nothing. I ran to my room. I looked around the room. Why the heck was there a shirt? It wasn't mine, who's was it? Then it processed in my brain. This was the shirt Dawson was wearing yesterday! Wait, was he shirtless the whole time? I thought back on it. He was! This is why Erin thought...
"Hey, I'm going out." I said to Erin. He nodded, basically ignoring me. I ran out to my car, hopping in. Dawson's shirt rested on my lap. I picked up the address book, searching for his name. I found it. I drove to the house and knocked. A lady answered the door.
"Um, hello. Is Dawson home?" I asked, smiling sweetly.
"Yes, he is. How are you friends?" She asked, smiling at me.
"Oh I'm Erin's sister. He left something at my house and Erin asked me to return it." I lied.
"Oh Erin's sister! Come on in! He is in his room." She said, motioning for me to come in. "Second door on the left." I nodded, walking up the stairs. I turned left and stared at the second door. It was cracked open a bit. I knocked. The door came wide open, revealing Dawson changing. He turned around, only in his boxers. My eyes widened.
"Oh my god, I'm sorry!" I squealed, throwing his shirt in his room and running down the stairs.
"Oh hun, I never caught your name?" Mrs.Harrington asked.
"Oh, my name is Eris." I smiled. She was so sweet.
"Here, come sit down! I have cookies!" She offered. I walked over to her and sat down.
"Dawson never brings girls over! And since I never had a daughter, it is very exciting!" She gushed.
"You don't have a daughter?" I questioned.
"Oh no! Just three boys." She answered. I nodded. I heard steps coming from the stairs. Dawson came out, shirtless, his hair a mess.
"Dawson, baby, I'm just chatting with Eris, here. Why don't you bring girls over often? She is just so lovely isn't she?" She admired. I blushed.
"Oh, I'd say she's lovely alright." He growled. Whats his problem?
"Dawson! Be nicer! I'm sorry dear, he's been a bit grumpy lately. "Sit down Dawson! Show our guest some love!" He grumbled something under his breath, sitting down.
"So, Dawson, have you talked to Eris much? She brought over something for you. Said Erin couldn't bring it over." She smiled, eyeing him.
"I do talk to her, sometimes. We sit next to her in history." He shrugged, obviously disinterested in this conversation.
"Well, I have to go. Sorry, but I hope to come back soon." I told. She nodded.
"Dawson, walk her out, please." I stood up, and so did he. The second the door closed behind us, he sighed.
"Why are you in such a crabby mood?" I dared to ask. He stared at me
"God you're cute." He looked into my eyes.
"Um,uh." I said, racing to my car. I hopped in locking the door. He tried getting in, but couldn't. He pouted and I stuck my tongue out at him. He pulled something out of his pocket. A few seconds later he slipped a paper through the bit of window I had open. I smiled, it said his number and then 'Call me cutie' I looked up but he was gone. I drove out of the drive way, and pulled up to a Starbucks.
"Um, hi. Can I have a passion tea lemonade? Sweetened." He nodded and I drove up to the next window where they handed me my drink. I drove home.
"Erin, i'm home!" I exclaimed, sipping on my drink.
"Where did you go?" I held up my drink, and he nodded. I walked upstairs. Jumping on my bed.
-Monday-
"I think i'm going to wear something nice today." I exclaimed to Tate on the phone.
"Why? That doesn't sound like you." She sounded surprised.
"No, my moms making me." I admitted.
"Oh, okay! That sounds more like you!" She laughed and I laughed along with her. I decided on a quarter sleeve white shirt and a light pink skirt. I took the straightener my mom got me for my 15th birthday and ran it through my hair. I put a bit of makeup on, which my mom also got me, hoping it would make me wear makeup. I walked out of my bathroom, to see my mom opening the door.
"Eris, get- Oh my! You look amazing darling!" I smiled. I walked down the stairs, Erin looked at me and dropped his spoon in his cereal.
"Woah! What did you do to her mom?" He looked horrified.
"Bye guys!" I walked out the door, hopping into my truck. I drove to school. I hopped out of my truck, and walked into school. I saw people staring at me, especially guys. I stopped at my locker.
"Hi Eris." Collin walked up to me.
"Oh, hey Collin." I smiled, but I was really wondering why he was talking to me.
"You look really nice." He smiled genuinely. I thanked him, but rushed off to class. I set my stuff down. Erin and Dawson were talking with their football posse. Most of the guys eyes were on me.
"Guys, stop checking out my sister!" Erin shuddered. This caused Dawson to look at me, I smiled at him. He smile back. The bell rang.
"This chick is your sister?" Brayden, another football player, asked.
"Erin, I need a ride to dance tonight? My truck is getting worked on. Will you take me?" I asked.
"Sorry, Eris. I have cross country tonight." I groaned.
"I can't skip! I already skipped Friday." I was screwed.
"I'll take you."
