Chapter 1: Introducing Me

>Hayden's POV<

"Sir it's time for you to wake up." One of the butlers says  as  I cuddle in the warm blankets of my empty king sized bed. Soon the blankets come off, and I the cool air hits my body. It's invigorating... sensual. "Alright I'm up!" I say, getting my feet off the bed and stretching my exposed torso. I open my eyes and look at the the sunrise before me, with the bright blue ocean twinkling like diamonds. In the distance, a merman sings out on a rock, as a pod of dolphins listen to his beautiful song. I laugh. One of the butlers hands me a white t-shirt and red pastel shorts and i quickly change into my clothes.

Once putting my shoes on, the butler says, "Before your go sir, you have fencing with Mr. Rodgers at 2:15, and then you have lesson with your father at 4:00." I nod and head of, running through the many halls of the castle. Sooner or later I run up to the side door of the castle, down to the private beach. The voice fills my ears again. "I see you can't help but keep singing at this time of day." I say. The voice stops and laughs. "Hey Hayden."

"How's your morning Josh?" I ask, looking to his muscular back side, his red tail slightly flicking against the rock. "I'm doing well. Really well actually" He replies back as I join him on the rock. "Things with Nate have made one hell of a person out of you." I laugh. "Yeah he has. How about you? Anyone that you've seen?" He asks. I shake my head. "No not yet. I'm not really sure what love is since I'm basically cooped up in this kingdom." He nods in agreement. "I knew that feeling. But you'll find someone. Like me. It took a while but with time comes great reward." He says, looking at me with his blue eyes. His body was something of the heavens I'd admit.

I thank him and then say, "Want to take a swim?" He laughs and says, "Ready to lose again?" I scoff and stand up, taking off my shirt, and the with a big leap, die into the crystal clear blue water, where the coral are vibrant with color. Josh swims up next to me and touches my exposed skin, and I can feel myself changing. Soon my hands & feet grow webs and my i can breather under water. We both pass a huge school of fish, and the pod of dolphins decide to join us. I look at Josh and put up 3 fingers. I countdown 3...2...1.... and i swim as fast as I can through the crystal blue water.

>Several Hours Later<

I walk up on the rock, breathing heavily. Man does swimming keep me in shape. "Wow. You were so close to beating me." Josh says. I glare at him and hit him playfully on the top of the head. "You know I beat like 3 times." He laughs and says, "Yeah yeah okay." We laugh and then another voice says, "Well, well, well..." We look over to see my dad standing there. "You missed both your lesson with Mr. Rodgers and me." S*** I totally forgot. "My apolo-" I say, but my dad cuts me of saying, "It's alright. Just don't let this happen again. Now come on. Dinner will be ready soon so get showered." He heads back to the castle.

I look back at Josh and give him a hug. "Until next time dude." I say. He hugs back and says, "Alright until next time dude." We release our hug and do our quick little handshake. I walk back onto the beach and look back, seeing Josh do a flip in the air before diving back into the sapphire ocean, with the sun blaring its orange rays through the clouds in the distance. I run back into the castle and then reaching my room, I open the door and strip down. I hop into shower, turning on the hot water, allowing it to trickle down my muscular body. Once getting out and drying myself, I put a pair of boxers along with a pair of grey joggers and a red shirt. I sit on my bed and grab my guitar.
