"I am Kargalgan!!! And you may look powerful, but you cannot defeat me!!!"

The gigantic red Orc, seemingly a type of shaman or mage, spoke from his throne while Snape stood in front of an army of Orcs.

"Can you even tell that I am human?" Snape simply asked, contradicting the entire atmosphere as the Orcs around him raised their weapons.

"Hm?!" Even Kargalgan was taken aback by such a question—who would say something like that after they had all prepared to fight?

Snape couldn't help it. After all, he had finally found someone who spoke his language since he had encountered the ice elf. Every other monster until now had only roared and tried to kill him by any means necessary.

"No... you are not human." The five-meter-tall monster said.

"I see... Can you tell me what you are and why you are inside paintings at the school?" Snape asked.

"..." The Orc looked at him without saying anything at first. "We are..." but suddenly, he began to distort, as if he were rewinding.

"No... you are not human." The monster repeated his previous sentence, completely forgetting Snape's question.

"This again..." Snape murmured.

The first time this happened was when he faced Ice—the name he had given the chief ice elf when he and Rosaria encountered him in the painting of the icy landscape.

He had described Rosaria as human, even conditioning that if Snape left her there, he would not be attacked because he was not human. Rosaria hadn't understood a word of what Snape and the elf were talking about, but Snape had obviously refused and fought alongside the half-vampire, and they won in the end.

But in the middle of it all, when Snape started asking what the elf was and how he was there, the same thing happened as with this Orc shaman... They distorted when questioned and returned to the moment before they had heard Snape's question.

"What a pain..." Snape murmured at the end, looking at all the monsters surrounding him—at least 400 Orcs, four Orcs acting as royal guards, and the Orc shaman himself, who seemed to be a kind of king. This wouldn't be easy.

The shadow beneath Snape began to expand in the next moment as Kargalgan looked surprised at the sight of the shadows rising from the ground, starting to take shape.

"This..." Kargalgan murmured, watching more than 150 shadows emerge, some quite large, like the basilisk and the giant golem.

"Now we're getting closer..." Snape spoke calmly, deciding that the battle would begin now.

"You speak as if you're at an advantage. My numbers are nearly three times yours. Now, go! Kill this invader in my sanctuary!!" The Orc exclaimed as Snape activated an area encompassing all his shadows, forming a circle with himself at the center.

[Shadow Monarch's Domain Circle. You increase the stats of all your shadows by 50% while they remain inside the circle!]

"Tsk. Come." Snape scoffed as all his shadows prepared to fight. The Orcs from all sides quickly charged, attacking the shadows directly, while the shaman remained seated in his throne alongside his personal guards.

The shadow soldiers were immediately impacted by the Orcs' advance. War weapons, claws, and fangs clashed against each other, while Ouroboros, the stone golem, began crushing the Orcs with ease due to his massive size. Igris and Ace did the same, being among the fastest in Snape's army, swiftly reaping the lives of their enemies.
