Chapter 4

Beth POV:
I walked to school in the rain because my mom and I weren't exactly in "speaking mode" and Kian isn't feeling good today. I hope he gets better by tomorrow because I really want to hang out with him. I might have a little crush on him.

I ran though the ran and into school. I wasn't completely soaked but wasn't sry either. I walked up to my locker and put my books in. Cameron, Nash and Matt came. I ignored them and got out what I needed. "Hope you brought our project I didn't waste my time to work on it just so you didn't bring it." Here comes jerk face Cameron.

"Yea I brought it." I said while slamming my locker shut. "Princess anit feeling good today."  "Don't call me that." I just remembered I forgot something and groaned.

I got my locker code and accidentally opened it on Cameron's face. "Oh my god I'm sorry." "Whatever." He said while rolling his eyes. God what's his problem.

I took out my phone and texted Rachel.

Beth: hey where are you guys? I'm bored as fuck.😓

Rachel: we're coming to your locker

Beth: okay

I saw Rachel and Lauren and waved to them. "Hey!" "Hey." "And her friends are here also." "Shut up Cameron I wasn't talking to you." "Of course you weren't."

"So are you still hanging out with Kian tomorrow?" "Yea." "Omg cute! Is it a date?" "No! Just hanging out." "You guys would make a cute couple you know." "Eh he doesn't like me." "Do you like him?" "I don't know maybe." Shit I just remembered Cameron's there but I'm sure he wouldn't care.

"Aww cute! Well the bell is about you ring I'll see you at lunch." "Okay bye." I said. "Bye."

The bell rang and I walked to class. Cameron was walking behind me with Matt. Once I got there I pulled Cameron. "What?!" "We have to turn in the project what else?" I said in a duh tone.

We walked to the teacher and handed in our project. "And why was it late?" "Uh well." "We got stuck in traffic yesterday so we didn't come to first period what else?" Cameron said bluntly. "Watch your attitude Mr.Dallas." "Maybe you should watch your mouth." I shot him a glare but he shrugged.

"That's it you have detention Cameron." "Too bad I already have detention for 2 weeks." "Go back to your seat the two of you."

I nodded and pulled Cameron along. "What we're you doing?" "Nothing." "You could have gotten in more trouble dumbass." "Annoying Mota is back." "Shut up."

Once school ended I walked to detention aka hell and sat down. I got out my phone and texted Rachel.

Beth: Detention is boring as hell
Rachel: sorry boo
Beth: do you know who else go detention?
Rachel: yea basically my whole class in third period.
Beth: what how?
Rachel: pranking the teacher
Beth: ohh
Rachel: wanna play 21 questions?
Beth: sure
Rachel: favorite color
Beth: blue or pink
Rachel: favorite ice cream flavor
Beth: cotton candy.
Rachel: your crush?
Beth: Kian
Rachel: ah ha! I knew it!
Beth: shit did I just type that?
Rachael: yea
Beth: fuck
Rachel: I'm betting you 10 dollars that Kian would like you back
Beth: he probably won't
Rachel: you never know
Beth: the teachers coming bye
Rachel: byex

I quickly took my phone away before the teacher could see. There were a lot of people in detention. Mostly boys. A few of Madison's friends got detention also.

They were all kissing their boyfriends which grossed me out. The teacher came in and started to yell. "Bethany your in charge until I come back." "Oh okay."

The teacher left which always annoyed me like just stay. "So teachers pet." Madison said while walking to my desks. "I'll like to see you in charge." "Madison I have enough of-" I got cut off by Madison slapping me right across the face.

Everyone's eyes widened and started to laugh. "Oh look little Bethany is hurt why don't you tell your mom to clean you up oh wait you can't aren't you guys in a fight?" "How did you know?" "I do my researches." Cameron was the only person who knew. I can't believe he told her!

I got up and glared at Cameron. "Why would you tell her that?!" I yelled before walking out. Now probably the whole school is going to know. I walked out of the school not caring if I get in trouble again.

I just want to die right now. I walked home and went up to my room. I laid on my bed and started to cry. I heard a noise near the window. I got up and went to the window to see Kian.

"Hey.. What happened? Are you okay?" "Everyone at school knows." "Knows what?" "That me and my mom are fighting." "Why what happened?"

I explained Kian what happened. "So Cameron told?!" "Maybe he was the only one who knew." "Fuck this I'm going to kill him." "No Kian don't." I said but he walked away. Shit shouldn't have told him.

Kian's POV:
Oh could Cameron told Madison?! I'm going to kill him. I took my phone and called Cameron.

Cameron: hello?
Kian: why the fuck did you tell Madison about Bethany and her mom!
Cameron: I didn't
Kian: you were the only one who knew
Cameron: but I didn't tell her
Kian: stop lying than how would she know
Cameron: how the hell am I suppose to know?!
Kian: you better tell her to stop ruining Bethany's life
Cameron: that's none of my business
Kian: she's your girlfriend control her
Cameron: do you even know her?
Kian: yes she's a slutty bitch
Cameron: fine how's Beth doing
Kian: why would you care?
Cameron: I'm not heartless
Kian: well she came home crying
Cameron *mutters* shit
Kian: well I have to go now
Cameron: k bye
Kian: bye

I walked over to my window to see Bethany on her phone. "Beth." She looked up and smiled. "Yea? Please don't tell me you did anything." "I might have called him but don't worry. Anyways the carnival still on?" "Yep." "Great finally I could hang out with you."

She laughed and walked over to the window. "Can't wait." "Same." "Well I have to go my mom is calling me." "Oh you guys better work things out." "I hope." She said as she closed the window.

She mouthed bye and I waved. Gods am i having a crush on her?

Beth POV:
I walked downstairs and saw my mom on the kitchen table. "Bethany." "Mom." I replied back coldly. "Look Bethany I'm so sorry for saying those things about you. None of them were true. I was just really angry and you know how I act when I get angry." "Mom it's fine really I'm just glad we're talking again."

"Honey I could never hate you ever." She said as I walk to her and gave her a hug. "Thanks mom."

I pulled away and sat on the chair. "So who was that boy with you? Your boyfriend?" "Who Cameron? No he's not my boyfriend he hates me." "Really? He did seem concern about you." "Eh I don't know. What's for dinner?" I said changing the subject. "Well I was going to buy chipotle." "Yes CHIPOTLE! Mom please." "Okay the usual?" "Yep."

My mom left and I went up to my room. I looked at my phone and saw 4 missed callas from Cameron and 5 text messages. Uh what does he want now??

Cameron: I swear I did not tell Madison
Cameron: you can believe it or not but I did not tell her
Cameron: aren't you going to answer back?
Cameron: I called you like five times already

I rolled my eyes and replied back.

Beth: you were the only one who knew
Cameron: but I didn't tell her god how much time do I have to tell you?
Beth: whatever bye

I took a quick shower and watched the Vampire Dairies while eating chipotle.
