I was extremely nervous. I had been on an airplane, in the air for hours. I had less than 5 minutes till landing to get my nerves out. I knew that on the outside I was calm looking but on the inside I was a nervous wreck. What really had my nerves going right now was the amount of people who were staring at me. I knew who they thought I was. They didn’t see my eyes so they could have never known the truth. The girl who had been sitting next to me suddenly tapped my shoulder. “Um… Could I possibly have your autograph? Please.” I just looked at her. “I’m sorry but I am not who you think I am. You probably think I am from the group 2pm right?” The girl looked quite surprised, she spook softly saying “No, I thought you were from MXis. I’m sorry for the inconvenience.” With that she looked away embarrassed. “I… I’m sorry I thought you mistook me for my twin brother Jun-Ho from 2pm. I… I… am quite surprised you know my groups name.” now she looked excited and very happy.
“I knew it, you are the leader Jun-Ha right?! They have been promoting MXis’s songs already before your first appearance together. Can I please have your autograph?”
“Sure why not, just promise to not tell anyone else, okay.”
“I promise!”
With that we finally heard the pilot coming over the speakers “Fasten your seat belts please and prepare for landing.” I was now breathing heavily, and starting to feel my insides tie into knots.
“Um… Jun-Ha are you alright? You don’t look so good.”
“Nah, I’m fine, I think. It’s just that there will be a bunch of fans waiting for me and I am nervous. I know it’s sil…”
“What are you taking about? They are here to see you and support you. They want to know you better. Like now, I just wanted to know you better, and I like you already. You are not nervous with me are you?” With that I just looked at her and smiled.
“Thanks, you give me strength just by those small words. I never learned your name, do you mind telling me?”
“It’s Soon-cha, Yi Soon-cha at your service. Ha-ha. Well um… it’s time for us to go so…”
“Here’s my number.”
I couldn’t help it, I needed a friend here, a good one at that. She nodded her thanks and put my number into her phone. Suddenly I felt my pocket vibrate with a text message. I looked at the message and smiled. What I read in the text kept going through my mind the entire time I got out of my seat and out of the plane.
“Keep calm and carry on, I will be right beside you to help.”
