Chapter 22

Joel's p.o.v.
"Hey Joel want to go to the park or something?" Madi asked me

"Yeah sure that'll be cool hey where's Benj?"

"Didn't he tell you he left already" Madi told me

"Oh anyway can you show me to the park?" I asked

"Yeah come on"

We walked to the park talking about weird things

"Wait so your 26 and you live with your mum?" Madi asked I punched her arm I said

"No I moved out 4 years ago anyway where do you live?" I asked

"I live around that corner 5th house down the corner why are you stalking me!?" Madi said I gave her the 'really' look and she put her hands up then yelled

"Race you to the tree!" then she stepped on my foot and ran I chased after her but she already made it to the tree I rolled my eyes at Madi and sat on a bench se came over and sat next to me gradually over the hours of talking Madi fell asleep I mumbled to myself

"I'm glad I know where she lives" I picked her up so her head was resting on my shoulder and I was holding her legs and back I started walking her to her house.

Ratliff's p.o.v.
I was looking out my window because Madi said she'd meet me but never came then I saw her sleeping with a guy carrying her I felt rage on me so I decided to go to bed
* in the morning *
I walked over to Madi's and knocked on her door Rory answered and said

"She's sleeping on the couch come in"

"Hey Rory who was that guy?"

"You mean Joel?"

"Who?"

"The guy that carried her last night. His name is Joel Madden. What happened was they were doing a song together then they went to the park and talked and she fell asleep so he didn't want to wake her or let her stay there the night so he brought her home to sleep peacefully. Bro you don't have to worry she loves you and I don't think that'll change. Have you seen her room lately?"

"No and thanks I thought she might of been either cheating or blowing me of because she didn't like me" I said

Madi woke up and rolled off the couch I started laughing she looked up and saw me she got up fast and hugged me

"Hi" I said

"Hey back Rat"

"Hey how's that new song going with Joel?"

"Great we finished yesterday it's apart of my album"

"What's your album called?" I asked curiously

"It's called Stars Above" Madi said I nodded

"Hey I have to go band practice bye" I kissed Madi and Rory screamed

"My eyes my poor poor eyes I need to burn them I'm scarred for life!!!!!!" Madi and I laughed then I left.
