I'm just ignoring my family and writing this while listening to music. We're going to the redwood forest and I'm just casually staying behind. Alright now we start.

Phil looked at me, his eyes resting on my own. "Ready Dan?" He yells from a hundred feet up.

"Hell yes Phil" I scream back. He comes down, then picks me up. I'm then placed on a hill, so I could watch him while being level. He moves back a very far length and suddenly stops. His wings burst to full length, power radiating from them. The ghost blue shines out like a gem, and the ground I'm standing on freezes. Huge clouds appear, snow beginning to drift down. Soon I'm shivering, while ice forms in patterns on the ground. A castle is forming from thin air, as the temperature plummets. Then he drops. His wings burst open again, stopping himself as he lands lightly on the ground.

"Welcome to my kingdom Daniel." Phil says, a crooked smile forming on his face. Shit. Can I just say he's unbelievably attractive and extremely powerful.

"Hot damn Phil, what I do is nothing compared what you can do." I say I'm awe. He shrugs, and then takes my hand.

"Can I show you the inside?" He says. I nod, and he picks me up, flying toward the castle he had made just seconds ago. The doors open, and I can't even begin to describe it. Furniture of light blue ice, detail in everything I can see. Two staircases for the impaired, me I'm guessing, and chandeliers that shine with such a gorgeous array of colors. He takes my hands, and turns me toward him. He hugs me. The first time since I was twelve, someone hugs me. His body, expecting to be cold like the things he creates, is the exact opposite. A warm barrier against the world.

I put my arms around him as well, and he whispers "You're always so cold. The other day your hand was freezing."

"Funny, you're the warmest thing I've ever felt." I say as I lean out of the hug.

"Let's go, it'll melt in a couple months." He says as I laugh, thinking about how some angel will find this place and be so confused. I clasp his hands as he jumps off the top of the castle. His beautiful wings explode out again, shooting us straight up into the air. Then everything stops. His wings wrap around my body, and our faces are so close our noses are touching.

"You're amazing Dan." Phil whispers as we are stuck in the sky.

"So are you" I say, wanting to lean forward and place my own lips on his. But my body moves without my mind agreeing. I break free of his embrace, and fall. Down and down so fast Phil screams. Face first I crash into the ocean. Water surrounds me as I know I can't ever kiss him. Kissing him would pretty much mean getting bonded, and that's like marriage. He can't have some kind of wingless idiot to pull him down all his life. On top of that, two men bonding only happens very rarely, and is almost always disapproved by the elders. Water animals swim toward me as I go deeper and deeper into the water to hide my shame. Then I hear a gurgling sound above. Phil's trying to swim. Wait no, change that to drown. I swim quickly to him, making him break the surface. He gasps for air, the water turning almost unbearably cold.

"Phil what were you doing! You can't even swim you idiot!" I yell, anger covering my worry.

"I was scared Dan! You mean so much to me and had thought you might be in trouble and it's all I could do!" Phil screams, crying. This is the first time I've ever seen him cry. I wrap my arms around him and kiss his forehead, whispering how I'm okay and he's okay. Brushing his hair out of his eyes I say

"Let's go to the forest, we can dry off and I'll show you some more things, okay?" I say. He nods and then we swim (more like me swimming, him dragging behind) to the shore. He freezes his wings and then shatters the ice. We fly to the forest, landing atop a tree. We just sit there for hours, me showing him how to get animals to come to him with only a call. He drops me off at my house after the day. As I walk into the main rooms, the house if eerily quiet, Amy's music usually blasting through out the house.

"Amy? Where are you?" I call out, hearing nothing in response. I walk to her room, searching for her. There's a note on her desk that I first overlook, and then the word Dan catches my eyes. After skimming over the page, I immediately cloud a message to Phil. He comes in about five minutes, breathless, and says

"Dan what's wrong?" Phil gasps out.

"Take me to the school now." I say shuffling my bag together.

"Why, schools practically over in ten minutes." Phil questions.

"Because in ten minutes, Amy's going to be dead."

Haha don't be a jerk to your sister folks, girls are sensitive. Well now time to write the next part. See ya later.
