Audrey’s POV

The last two weeks had been super hectic. Dakota and I had gone to multiple job and internship interviews. We both got call-ins from a few magazines and internships for Rolling Stones Magazine. We drove all over town to meet people and talk business.  We hadn’t seen the boys since we all went to Denny’s, besides bumping into them in the hallways as we ran into our apartment to go work on more projects. Between writing and papers and trying to concentrate, we had no time, but Dakota and I wouldn’t give up journalism for the world. Writing was our passion and we loved doing it together. Most of the magazine editors wanted samples of work and we asked them if we could submit projects that we had worked on together, and most of the time they said yes.

Almost every day we woke up, got coffee, (welI I didn’t get coffee, but Kota did), checked emails, went to any locations necessary, checked into the office if we needed to, and then finally returned to our apartment to get food and sit down and write for hours, only to send what we had to the editor and do it all again the next day. After a week, a few of our articles had actually made it into the magazines and we were thrilled. All we did was think of writing, but as fun as it was, I missed going on adventures with the boys and having some free time to relax.

I was running down the hall back to the apartment because I went on a late night trip to Taco Bell. I turned the corner and saw a familiar face.

Jaime’s POV

I  said bye to the guys, who were all lying on the couch like slugs, watching soccer. I was really bored and needed some fresh air. It had been 2 weeks since I had last seen Audrey. I know I hadn’t known her for very long, but she was all I could think about. I wasn’t even paying attention while walking down the halls, when I heard humming. I looked up and there she was. Audrey was walking down the hall holding a bag of Taco bell, looking tired, but still as cute as ever. She noticed me and smiled, I got excited and picked up my pace, walking over to her.

“Hey Audrey! Long time no see! How are you? The guys all miss you. How have you been?” I rambled excitedly, bombarding her with questions. She smiled up at me, pushing her hair behind her ear.

“It has been a while! We both miss you and the other guys so much. We have been doing a lot of journalism jobs and it takes a lot of time and effort trying to come up with stories and finding people to interview and whatnot. It hasn’t left us with a lot of time to hang out. But we should be getting into a regular schedule now, because we are about to sign a contract with AltPress Magazine, and that means more moolah and more time to spend with you!” she said playfully, poking my stomach. I laughed.

“Well that is the most fantastic news I’ve heard all day! Congratulations!” I said, taking a deep breath afterward. She made my stomach fill with butterflies and my breath short and choppy. I looked at her and she stared back at me. “So,” I said, breaking the silence, “ in honor of your success, would you like to go out on a date with me?” I blurted out, nervous as to what her reaction would be. She smiled ear to ear, beaming.

“I would love nothing more than to go on a date with you Jaime! Just tell me when and where, and you can count on it!” she was still smiling. Man, even with all my awkward, she was still genuinely happy. I am so lucky to have a chance with this girl.

“I’ll let you know closer to Saturday, you can tell me all about your new job and what you do.” I said, drawing out the conversation, never wanting it to end.  She gave me a curious look.

“Speaking of which, what do you do? I mean you can't just sit at home all day, do you?” I laughed when she said this, because for the last two weeks, that was basically all that I had been doing.
