Chapter Twelve.
"Morning Ryan." I chirped as I slid into the front seat of my best friend's car.
"Someone is cheerful this morning, did your dad put something in your morning orange juice?" Ryan said with a chuckle, I grinned.
"Can't a girl just be in a good mood." I smiled meeting Ryan's eyes. A smirk appeared on his face which surprised me. What was he thinking?
"Sarah needs a lift this morning." He mumbled turning his attention to the road, I groaned and as soon as he heard he chuckled.
"Great now you've ruined my good mood." I grumbled sinking into the front seat.
"I'm not switching seats." I grunted sitting up firmly, he grinned.
"And I won't let you switch seats, chill it's just Sarah." He chuckled and I rolled my eyes, it's just Sarah? More like, It just psycho Sarah? It's just bitchy Sarah? Jealous Sarah? I could just go on forever. . . I wasn't going to let Sarah ruin my fading happiness.
"Let's go." I smiled.
He slid into the right gear and drove down the clean cut road. Foliage skipped past my sight, making my eyes blur because of the speed. I soon started to get a headache from watching the greenery fly passed my vision, so I just stared at Ryan. Yeah I know it was a bit perverted. He raised an eye brow, seeing me in the corner of his eye.
"Why do you keep staring at me?" he said with a smirk growing on his face.
"Because the trees are fast and making me unable to focus, so I'll focus on you instead." I said quickly with my best smile, showing off my pearly whites. I suddenly just realized how sappy that sounds.
"Whoa, I just sounded really sappy." I grumbled looking away, he grinned in the corner of my eyes but didn't reply.
I few minutes passed and I stayed in silence, thinking how stupid I sounded and now felt. God I need a life. I groaned and flickered my eyes back to Ryan. He pressed on the breaks and slowed the car down. Great, time to reveal semi naked Barbie. Sarah squealed as she left the house and galloped over to us like a gay pony. She had her fake blonde hair tied into two loose low ponytails that were brought to her shoulders, she had a short crop top on and a short demine skirt on, so short that if she leant over you could see her thong. I shivered in disgust, she also wore giant golden hoop ear rings and six inch golden gladiator wedges.
"Baby, did you like my show last night!" she squealed as she pecked Ryan on the lips through his window. He looked slightly more awkward than usual, that fact made me exhaled a sharp laugh under my breath.
"It was. . .err great." He chirped not looking into her eyes, I smiled wider. She then cough impatiently as she saw me.
"Why is she sitting in my seat?" she grunted emphasizing the 'my'. I rolled my eyes. Ryan don't break our promise.
"Because I let her." Ryan stated and I smiled.
"But Baby!" she groaned.
"Look at the time! We'll be late for school." He snapped as Sarah glared at me. I flashed her a fake smile as she slid into the back seat.
Once we arrived at school, I suddenly realized I had to face another day of smirking perverts. But for some reason I felt confident today, I wasn't going to get embarrassed.
As I entered the school, I saw Sabrina at her locker down at the end of the corridor. I grinned as I walked towards her.
"Good morning boys." I greeted peering perverts as I walked by. They all smirked or looked shocked. That wasn't so bad. Maybe I could even get used to it.
"Sabrina the teenage witch, good morning!" I chirped as I hugged her tightly. She struggled out of my arms and gave an awkward look.
"Oh god, you're in a good mood." She grumbled and I tilted my face slightly with a smile.
"How'd you guess?" I asked raising my eye brows.
"Because you only call me 'Sabrina the teenage witch' when your over happy, which nickname I totally hate by the way, and also when you're in a good mood, your creepy." She mumbled looking at the floor chucking to herself. I let out a loud laugh and pushed Sabrina playfully. She narrowed her eyes and grinned back at me.
"Well I wouldn't want to ruin your good mood, I've got to go meet up with Will he's teaching me how to use a computer." She nodded with a grin, I burst into laughter.
"Whoa, you on a computer. I must be dreaming." I said with wide eyes.
"Hey I've switched from books to Google. I can do it. I'll prove you wrong." She chuckled as she slammed her locker shut and walked away. I smiled as she left, good lord I have weird friends.
I turned to see Derek, Ross, Dylan, Ryan and Barbie doll Sarah walking towards me. All grinning like idiots except Sarah, who's frown did not turn upside down. I pouted at her as they all approached me. She just gave out a slow fake laugh.
"Well good morning boys." I smirked at them.
