"Amanda Marie Rivers!" my mom yelled at me. "put your god damn camera away we're eating dinner!" I rolled my eyes and put my camera in it's case and on the ground. "I was editing" I said in an annoyed hassled voice. I ate my meal, grabbed my camera, and ran up to my room. I like taking pictures of nature the best. I go out behind my house and wonder off into the woods. I always come back with a bunch of amazing photos. I looked at the time, it was only 5 I had 3 hours until it would be dark. so I grabbed my camera and threw on some shoes and headed out the door. "I'll be back before dark mom!" I yelled before running down my street and into into the woods. I took pictures of some flowers and plants. I walked almost a mile into the woods, I saw a brick. what the hell? I thought and ran over to it before looking to see thousands of bricks lying out of place. there was wood everywhere and nails, and a lot of glass. I walked over and took a picture of everything. I walked a little bit closer and saw there was a well. I stepped a little bit closer enough to get a photo of it, then backed back a little. I zoomed in to the picture and saw there was a bunch of boards and stuff thrown in it. "cool" I said out loud. I looked at the time. shit. it's 7:15pm it would be getting dark soon. I ran past everything and ran out of the woods. I could tell it was getting darker. 7:45 by the time I got out of there, but I still had to walk all the way down the street. I walked past this grey house. it was completely grey, and I didn't recognize it. what the hell. I thought. I've been down here a million times and never noticed it. how strange... I decided to take a picture of it, it was ugly, completely grey. there was a small grey car parked in the driveway, someone was home. the weirdest party of it was, not only was the house and car grey, the grass was even grey. it looked spray painted, like someone is trying to make the place look gloomy on purpose. how have I never noticed this? maybe it was always here and these people just moved in and changed everything. I don't know. I snapped the picture and put my phone back in my pocket, and raced home.
