Chapter 5

-Two months later-

~Olivia's pov~

After we said our goodbyes to some close friends from home, we had to say goodbye to our parents.

"Mom?" I asked.

"Yeah?" She asked.

"I guess it's time for me to say goodbye." I sighed.

"Oh honey, this isn't officially a goodbye. We'll see each other soon. I'm happy that you're taking a big step into life. Your dad and I love you to death and I'm sure you do too." We hugged and I slightly cried.

"Bye.." I waved and stepped into Matt's SUV.

Matt grabbed my hand as he began to slowly drive away. "It'll be okay. It's gonna be fun living in LA."

I smiled to myself thinking how much fun it would be. "Thank you Matt. You're right."

"Oh I'm always right." He laughed.

"Yeah. That's why I rely on you." I smiled at him and squeezed his hand.

I went on my phone and saw that I had three missed calls from Jenn.

"Hello?" She asked.

"Hey Jenn! I saw you called?"

"Yes! Yes I did call you. I just wanted to say that I'm excited for you to come down to LA."

And that's when I remembered that she lived there.

A huge smile grew on my face.

"Yeah! Me too. Well I gotta go now but I'll see you tonight or tomorrow." I hung up and the smile was still plastered on my face.

Matt looked at me and giggled a little but I ignored.

"Why are you smiling?" He was still laughing.

"Oh nothing." I said still smiling but bigger.

-6 hours later on the plane-

I started getting air sickness. I hate it when I get air sickness. I never throw up but I go crazy.

Matt tried calming me down by his voice. Which in fact, did work.

"It's gonna be alright baby. We have only three hours left. We'll be okay." He whispered.

I calmed down and put my headphones in to block out any distractions. The song 'Latch' came on and I mouthed the words.

Out of nowhere, the speaker went on which made me stop singing to myself.

"Attention passengers. We'll be landing in one minute. I hope you enjoyed riding with us this evening."

I sighed in relief and grabbed my phone and stuck it inside my hoodie's pocket.

Matt grabbed my hand and we started to walk to the front door of our new house.

He opened it slowly and said,"We're home."

I smiled and hugged him tightly and he hugged back.

"This is really amazing!" I said looking around.

The house was so big and beautiful. I already could tell that I'm falling in love.

I looked around upstairs and saw four bedrooms and the master bedroom.

"Matt, can you come here for a minute?" I said since he was looking around upstairs too.

He walked up to me,"Yes?"

"Look at this room! I'm so in love right now." I said jumping.

"You know what this house needs?" He questioned.

"What?" I said still excited.

"A dog." He answered and as usual, I went crazy.

"Oh my gosh yes! We need to look for one ASAP!" I yelled.

"Tomorrow morning we can."

I was so glad that we got the furniture already moved inside. And now we don't have to worry about unpacking.

"Well let's go to bed. I'm so jet lag." I said yawning.

"Yeah."

I got dressed in just basic clothes and hopped into bed with Matt.

"Goodnight baby." He said and kissed my forehead.

"Goodnight." I said and fell fast asleep.

"That ones cute!" I said pointing at the white and brown spotted dog.

"Let's get him." Matt said.

We got him and put him in the back seat. "What should we name him?"

"Burnie." Matt said.

We agreed and went home.

"Matt. I'm gonna go out to the mall with Jenn. I'll be back around six." I said and grabbed my phone and purse.

I walked out the door and saw Jenn in her car waiting.

"Hey!" I said excited.

"Oh my god Olivia! I missed you so fucking much." She hugged me.

"It was so nice seeing you again." I smiled and waved. "You too!" Jenn said and drove away.

I opened the door and Matt was standing there in his phone. "Hey Matt." I smiled. "Hey baby." He said hugged me.

"My legs are literally, killing me." I said laughing a little.

"I can make them feel better." He smirked which made me laugh.

"Really. I can." He said biting his bottom lip. "You do look sexy in that outfit."

I nodded and he picked me up.

He cradled me up to our room and he threw me on the bed.

"Love you." He said.
