I was awakened by some voices I could hear, but who were that? I didn't know but soon enough I would know. I wasn't able to open my eyes, but I heard the footsteps coming closer and closer.

'Wake up, Travis!' I don't recognize the voice, who is this? I try to open my eyes, but it feels like they are glued together. I try harder and harder but it won't work. Then to at least give some sign of life, my mouth opens up and closes. I can't say anything, but at least there is movement. The same voice as 10 seconds ago replies 'Good job! Now do you remember anything from last night?'

I tried to say something, but that wouldn't work. So I decided to shake my head from left to right. It means 'no' right? I wasn't sure of it, but I thought it means 'no'. As I tried to shake my head, my neck muttered and it ached like hell. I have never felt like this before. What had I done to become this terrible. I didn't know anything from last night and I couldn't move any part of my body?

Had I drunk to much last night? Or was I attacked by a group of loitering? Well, my brain didn't remember anything from last night, so this wasn't helpful.

I decided to ask the unknown person if she knew what had happened last night. 'Wod haf hepand latas nagt?' Wow Travis, that went smooth. Even a 4-year-old would speak up better than I could. I started to get my feelings in my mouth back. Then suddenly the voice replied 'Wow Travis you can already speak. Well the doctor is here in a minute. He will test you if everything is still okay. And then when you have recovered a little bit we will explain you what happened.' I tried to open my eyes, but it still wouldn't work.

A minute later I heard some heavier footsteps entering my room. Or wasn't it my room? The bed didn't feel like my own bed? Wait what did the doctor have to do in my house? Where was I?

The new voice said to me 'Hello Travis, i'm John Tradics. I am your doctor. May I check your heart rate, Travis?' I opened my mouth and said 'Jas' well, he could understand it had to be a yes. He took some gear and put it around my arm. He waited a few seconds. 'So Mr. Hammock, your heart rate is 121 beats per minute. This is pretty high for someone having rested for more than 15 hours.' With that last sentence he laughed, but I was immediately thinking: Wait have I slept for so long? What must have happened to me then? Was I ever going to recover? But to the doctor I said 'wad is goieng to bi nest?'

'Well Travis, we do now need to check your blood pressure. So may I use another gear to test your blood pressure?'

'It's gjood!' I still wasn't able to speak fluently and correctly. But at least the last few words went better than when I started talking, right?

He took a big box including some rubber straps. One was used as a wristband. He put it over my hand and closed it at my wrist. When he turned the gear on the wristband started swelling. My wrist ached but I couldn't do anything. 'Auuuw!' I suddenly said without knowing. John instantaneously turned off the gear and asked me what was wrong. 'Mai arm dit pain wen yoe poeshed it on.' Well hopefully he would understand it.

Then i heard John say 'Carry, will you take Travis to the radiology center? He needs to be checked on any fracture. Throughout his whole body.' He turned to me again, at least that's what it sounded, because I still couldn't open my eyes. 'Travis. Carry, our nurse will take you to the radiology there you will be tested with X-radiation if you have any fracture. Of course we hope you don't have any fracture.'

When John finished speaking I felt my bed move, and I don't know where it was going to...

Or was it just going to the radiology center?
