The air was damp and stale. Her black locks stuck to her forehead from the heat of the day as she sighed making another mark on the stone wall with a small rock in the dark and moldy stone. She took a step back and counted all of them. There was a total of 15. Desesperation hit hurt with a force and she gripped the stone so hard her knuckles turned white and it cut into the skin of her palm before she angrily threw it against the ground. It shattered into a million pieces and she knew she woudl have to be careful while walking since she was barefoot but right now she could care less. She glared at the markings on the wall, breathing heavily before letting out a wordless cry of despair.
"15 years. I've lost 15 years of my life locked up in this damn tower!"
She had been locked up in a small tower for as long as she could remember and the reason why is forbidden to be told... She felt the famiiar sting of tears in her eyes as she spread her hand over the markings and looked around. The space was small and filthy, the walls dark and uneven. There was very little light coming through the sole opening in the ceiling and an empty sack as my bed. She punched the wall, frustration building up in her core. What did she do to deserve to be locked up here? She wasn't at fault for something that happened years ago! The clank of metal reverbarted through the room as someone unlocked the wooden door. Her head snapped towards the sound, heartbeat acelerating as a silhoutte strode in. By now her breaths came out in uneven gasps as she backed up into a corner, not having any place else to go to.
The silhoutte walked into the dim lit finally revelaing himself. He wore black armor on every part of his body, the only part of him visible were his eyes. She shivered as she looked into them. The malevolance and evil pooling in them was distrubing but even though her instincts told her to run away from there, to avoid the man, she could not. He was her master and she had to obey his every whim or else bad things would happen.
"Come to me." He commanded in a deep resonounding voice, his irises glowing a menacing red. She trembled, the adrenaline pumping through her veins as she reluctantly approached him. She bit her lip as she stepped over the shards of stone, cutting into the delciate skin of her feet but she could not stop to check her wound when he waited expectantly for her.
She reached him and she stiffened as he took a loose strand of her hair and tucked it behind her ear. He continued to play with her hair as he looked down at her. She was very aware that he towered over her and the thought of escape was incomprehensable.
"You seem frightened my dear." He said softly, with mock gentleness. "You need not be afraid of me."
"W-what do you wish, my lord?" She replied, her voice wavering.
"I only seek your company. Do you not wish for me to visit you?"
His hand trailed down from my hair to my neck where he held firmly but not enough to hurt while the other grabbed her by the waist and pulled her closer. Panic flooded through her sytem at the familiar yet unwanted gesture making her try to push him away which in turn made him hold her tighter. She struggled, dreadful of what might come next. He growled under his breath and grabbed her by the chin forcefully, bruising her and making her look into his eyes.
"Do not resist me, pet." He threatened lowly.
She squeezed her eys shut and turned her head to the side as he lowed his head to her neck. His hot breath fanned over her skin making her nauseous. She didn't understand why he got so close if he never took of the damn helmet but it was probably to torment her.
His hand relaxed a bit and she took the opportunity to push him back with all of her strength. She managed to surprise him and he staggered back a few feet as she made a run for the open door. He caught her before she even had the chance to take a step he grabbed her forearm brusquely.
