After getting into trouble at their seminary, seminarians Lance and Gerald are sent into the city for a month of service under the elderly Father paul. Upon their arrival, Lance meets Father paul's niece, angie, who has flown across from the province to see her boyfriend. However, when her boyfriend ends their relationship, angie finds herself stranded at her uncle's church with nowhere else to go. At first she and lance struggle to get along, but eventually they become attracted to one another, and lance is forced to question his commitment to the priesthood.
