Chapter 30: Welcome Home

{Hey guys I'm back! Sorry I took a long break because of depression but I'm much better. Thank you all so much!}

~Few days later~ Hiccups POV

"Come on Hiccup, we're almost home." Jack said, gripping my hand tighter and giving me a smile. We just landed from a flight, yes Jack had to carry me as we flew. Embarrassing but there was no other way to get home.

I walked beside Jack, looking around.
Jack was about my height or a little shorter, but I didn't mind at all. Not much has changed except for the fact that everyone could see Jack now! I was so happy for him, but I was way more happy to be with him.

We arrived home as Jack opened the door for me. As I walked in my father quickly walked up and scooped me up into a huge hug! I hugged him back and he set me down.

"Welcome home, son!" He said.
"It's good to be home" I said with a smile. My father also thanked Jack for taking me home and also watching over me while my dad was busy. I was still a bit hurt and shocked about the Astrid incident. It's extremely hard to get over, considering she was my closest friend.

Jack helped me walk upstairs to my bedroom. "Thank you Jack, for everything!" I said before I gave him a huge hug. I couldn't help it. He saved my life, and I couldn't thank him enough.
"Hic you don't need to thank me! I love you." Jack pulled away and smiled. I nodded back as we walked back downstairs. When we walked back downstairs we saw a whole bunch of people there! Towns people and my friends, along with toothless and my father. As soon as we came down the noise grew as people were welcoming me home and saying hi to Jack. It sure felt nice to be home.

"Everyone! I have something to say!" Jack yelled a bit loudly and everyone stopped talking. Jack walked up to me as I noticed his hand behind his back.

I realized what Jack was doing when he got down on one knee, pulling a small box out and opening it, revealing a solid silver ring. "Hiccup we have been together for a while now. And there have been twists and turns in this relationship. But I was also scared no one would see me.. Or like me. But I was wrong. Hiccup I want to spend the rest of my life, well you life, with you. I don't care if I never age, I'll take that chance. Will you marry me?"
