I stare out the window, at the sight of the beautiful blue sky, while nodding my head back and forth to the beat of the music. Mr. Blue Sky by the Electric Light Orchestra fades into All The Small Things by blink-182 into Fix You by Coldplay. On and on songs passed by keeping me company in the plane. Tap on shoulder. I pull my red wireless beats off my ears and look up. I see the flight attendant.
"Yes?"
"We have landed ma'am," she said politely with a fake smile. I only nod, turning off the music and hanging the headphones around my neck. I shove the phone in the front pocket of my olive jacket and stand up, slowly moving to the door of the plane. I patiently wait for my luggage cases to come around the corner of the huge luggage belt. I grabbed the suitcases and stacked a big heavy box on top of my black case. I sighed and pulled them out of LAX and waited for my uber taxi to come. My taxi turned around the corner and I got in and pulled out a slip of paper with my new adress on it.
"Where to ma'am?"
"(A/A)"
I pulled my iphone out and stared at the screen. 11:08 am. 22 minutes until the movers came. Soon we were at my house. The driver named a price and I handed him some cash. My car would be shipped over later. I checked the time. 11:40. They we're late. I grabbed my luggage went in the house and did a quick scope of the house.
The living room was fairly big. The reason I had chosen this house was because it had a secret room behind the closet.
I heard the truck pull up and walked outside.

My parents and I were a rich family
from New York. I had wanted a new life so I packed up and left taking 50 grand, my allowance, and a new house with me.

The only thing that I had brought with me was my favorite mattress. The rest of my furniture was sold and put into my savings, leaving me with about 55 grand. I wiuld have to buy the other furniture later. The mover pulled into the asphalt drive way and pulled out the mattress and drove my white car out of the truck. I thanked him and lifted the mattress up and into the house.
