Gemma was furious. Although we got home on time and she knew where we were, she was angry. Why? She sent us to our room to 'think' over our actions. We walked upstairs confused, trying desperately to think what we've done wrong. We got to our room and sat on the bed in silence, considering why Gemma could be so mad at all three of us. After about half an hour of thinking we heard a knock on the door,

"Can I come in?" Gemma's voice sounded slightly forgiving. We opened the door and she was standing there looking really disappointed. Louise broke the silence,

"We're really sorry Gemma, but we can't think what we've done to make you angry." At this the disappointment in her face grew more.

"I have warned you that today was the surprise birthday party for Carrie, everyone went to the town hall about 2 hours ago. Anna, I told you to meet us all there at 3:30. When you weren't there I came here to get you, I've been waiting for you for an hour and a half already, where were you?" Shit! I had totally forgotten. Gemma was saying something about that earlier, but Conor and Alex were arguing and I didn't really take it in. I told her this and she said it still wasn't good enough. We had fifteen minutes to get ready to go out.

She left us, and the other girls totally ignored me, I tried asking them what I did wrong, but they just kept muttering to each other and gave me the 'evil' silent treatment. I know I didn't tell them about the party, but was it really that hard to forgive me. Towards the end of our journey to the party, I texted Niall.

To: Niall <3x - I forgot to tell the girls about our social workers party, and now they're ignoring me. IDK what to do :( xx

I looked at my phone, normally he responds straight away I thought, what if he's ignoring me too. I was becoming paranoid. It wasn't good. We arrived at the party and Louise took my phone, apparently Gemma wanted all our phones so we could be sociable. Carrie was pleased to see us, even when we were there, they were ignoring me so I went to 'play' with the littler ones, basically I was trying to stop them having another food fight. Lucy saw that I wasn't happy and she came over to me,

"Anna, what's up?" She asked me. She was so bloody cute.

"Nothing hun, don't worry." I replied with so she went back to the others.

When we got home I found the courage to talk to Emily and Louise. I asked them what I did wrong and I apologised for forgetting about Carrie's party.

"Are you totally stupid?" They shouted,

"Did you not see the text?" Em asked.

"What text? What are you talking about?" I answered. Louise moaned impatiently,

"Em, she's not worth it she obviously doesn't care." Hang on, me? Not caring? Not caring about what,

"I really have no idea what you're talking about!" I begged for them to tell me.

"The text Louis sent you. It says everything." I looked at my phone and saw I had one new message, I read the text.

From: Lou-Bear - Can u tell Emily I have no intention of dating her, we r simply friends. Thanx, Lou x

Hold up. I didn't give him my number, I doubt Niall did. And I haven't saved his number as 'Lou-Bear' I mean, I didn't even see that text. Someone's been on my phone, it's the only reason I only just put a password on it earlier, and the message came through before. It came through when Louise took my phone. I'm so confused, but I told them what I thought happened,

"I'm so sorry, but I didn't see that message, honestly. It came through before I put a lock on my phone, just as I gave it to Gemma."

"Why would you give your phone to Gemma?" Em asked me, "Argh, Anna your impossible! Just leave us alone."

I went to sleep thinking about the possibilities, because I knew for a fact that Louis really liked Emily and there was no way he sent that text.

Wait. Emily and Louise both had their phones at the party, I saw them I'm sure I did. But why would Louise take my phone, unless... Louise could easily have changed her iD to 'Lou-Bear' and send the text from her phone, it's all I could think of, because all of the other messages from her are deleted. I pinged the number and Louise's phone bleeped. Busted, I thought. But why would she do that to me, and Emily. I don't get it. Em is her best friend, and I thought that I was one of her close friends. I went to sleep thinking about how I could confront her without Em wondering what was going on. I needed to figure this out, so I can make it up to her. But weren't they angry at me before the party, but the text came through after that. Now I'm too confused.

Hold on. Niall still hasn't texted me back. What did I do?
