"Looks like this one's mine." I pulled my room key out of my pocket and opened the door. "See you guys later." Most of the guys were on the same level as me; sharing rooms. I got my own room though, being the only girl and all.
The plane ride went fast after we took off. I talked with some of the guys here and there but mostly listened to music. I wasn't a big fan of planes and music calmed my nerves.
Once we landed we took a bus too the hotel where we are currently now. We had an hour to kill before some of us were going for dinner. I wasn't sure if I was going to go or not. To kill time though, I was going to face-time Lily.
I texted my dad making sure they were home and when he replied that they were, I called. It was funny when he answered the face-time because all I could see was the ceiling.
"Dad, you have to point it at your face. I'm staring at the ceiling." I laughed as his face poped up on the phone, half of him out of the shot. He took a minute to adjust it but he looked more comfortable on it.
"You should have taught me how to use this thing before you left Kolby bear."
"It's alright dad. Just keep it pointed at your face and you'll be fine. Where's-"
"Mommy. I hear mommy!" I could hear Lily's voice in the background coming closer. Her little face came into frame as she crawled into his lap. I could tell she was wearing her princess dress with her favorite crown sitting on her head. Her hair, which was a good amount surprisingly, was pulled into uneven piggy tails.
"Hi baby! I miss you already!"
"Miss you too! Me and grandpa been playing princess' in the castle!"
"Aww that sounds like so much funny! Where's grandpa's dress?" Lily giggled and covered her mouth.
"Silly mommy, grandpa doesn't wear dresses!"
We talked for a little while longer and I let her tell me about what they had been up too. After awhile she got sick of sitting in one spot and after telling me bye, she went to play with her dolls. Me and my dad talked for a few minutes until Lily called him to go play with her.
I must have fallen asleep after that because I woke up to knocking on my door. Rolling over, I grabbed my phone and find five missed calls. Two from Sid and three from Beau. Sighing, I got up and went to the door. Opening it, I found Sid, Geno, Duper, and Downie standing there.
"Hey sleepy head, wanna go for dinner?" I wasn't that hungry after falling asleep so I told them thanks but no thanks. "Alright, if you change your mind text one of us. We'll let you know where we are."
"Okay, bye guys. Stay outta trouble!" They laughed as I shut the door. I laid back down and grabbed the remote, turning on the tv. Flicking through the channels, I settled on games shows. It wasn't my favorite to watch but we all know there isn't any good channels when it comes to hotel tvs.
Twenty minutes later, there was another knock at my door. I slowly dragged myself out of the comfy bed and to the door, pulling it open quickly. Seeing Beau standing there, I stood up straight and pushed my hair out of my face.
"Hey, what's up?" He pulled his hands out of his pockets and scratched the back of his neck.
"I was wondering if you wanted to go somewhere with me?"
"Where too?"
"Just trust me, you'll love it. Meet me in the lobby in 15 minutes. Wear something warm."
When he walked away, I stood there for a second before I slammed the door and ran for my suitcase. I quickly pulled on my light wash skinny's, maroon off the shoulder shirt, and black leather jacket.
