Everything was great! We did amazing last night, so now we're treating ourselves to some brownies! The lady making the brownies seemed like a nice old lady from the back, but when I looked at her face, she was wearing a mask! No one seemed to care, maybe it was just a thing here in New York. I mean, ANYTHING can happen in New York! So I went with it.. Then she gave us PURPLE brownies... She said it was just food coloring. Everyone was enjoying there brownies, even Arrow and River! Dan, Ben, Daniel, and Aja told me to try my brownie, but I was still suspicious... I mean an old lady wearing a mask serves you PURPLE brownies, that tasted "magical" according to Platzman?
"C'mon Wayne, just take a bite!" Dan exclaimed.
Mac (Reynolds) hadn't eaten his brownie either.
"Nah I'm on a diet," I replied.
"OH Wayne, a diet that lets you have FIVE scoops of ice cream but not a BITE of a brownie?" Mac said, chuckling.
"I haven't seen YOU take a bite of the purple brownie, Mac!" I said.
"Well I'm with you.. This seems a little weird..." Mac replied.
"What do you expect? It's NEW YORK!" Ben exclaimed, a little more perky than usual.
"I think we should get going," I said nervously.
"Yah this place has a strangely sinister feeling.." Mac said.
We headed out the door, and I already knew something was wrong... We headed back to our hotel room.
"Hey, Wayne?" I heard someone whisper.
I turned around to see Mac.
"Yeah, what's up?" I asked.
"I have a bad feeling about those brownies.."
"I know... It's gonna be okay. We should just move on with the day, Mac."
"You're right. You and the guys should probably practice "shots"... Don't wanna be rusty for the concert tonight... You know that the president is attending.."
"Yes... It's such an honor.. I should get going to practice then."
I walked out of the room to talk to the guys.
"Let's practice shots," I suggested.
Ben got out his bass, Dan got a TV remote to use as a "microphone" and Platz got out his kit. But, when Platz tried to play the drums, it was almost like her had FORGOTTEN how to. When Ben tried to play Bass, he started giggling strangely, and then fell asleep. And, when Dan tried to sing, no sound came out. What was going on? I tried playing guitar, and my guitar worked just fine. What the hell is happening? Then it hit me... The Brownies.
"I need to find Mac ASAP," I said to no one in particular.
I walked into the other room, and I told Mac about what happened.
"I KNEW something was going on! We need to go back to that bakery!" Mac said.
We got in the car and headed to the bakery. I looked at my watch... It was 1:30.. We needed to get to the venue in less than THREE HOURS!
After what felt like forever, we reached the bakery. I walked up to the lady in the mask, and before she could react, I took off her mask. She wasn't an old lady at all! She was a young girl, the lead singer of a band that we are rivals with... They call themselves "think about birds"! I mean, I might be a little biased, but imagine dragons is so much better!!!
"Hello... So you tried to sabotage the band?" I asked.
"Ugh... I would say nice to see you again, but it's not.. Wayne!" She replied
"So what are you and... What it called? Think about birds up to? I mean other than RUINING OUR CONCERT!" I replied.
"I didn't do anything," she replied sweetly.
"Don't even try to lie... Now how do I fix Ben, Daniel, and Dan?"
"They need to eat a blue brownie.. But I'm not going to give it to you unless you give me a..."
"I'll give you anything to fix them."
"I want this shirt autographed by you, Wayne."
"That's it?!" Mac asked from behind me.
"Well, unfortunately my son is a huge fan of the band..." The lady replied.
"it's a deal!"
I signed the shirt and got the blue brownies. As we got in the car I noticed there was barley anytime left!
When we got back to the hotel, I gave everyone (except Mac and I) a blue brownie... They all seemed a little drowsy, but they were okay.
"Hey Wayne?" Mac said.
"Yeah?"
"Nice job."
"Umm. Thanks. Do you think we'll be on time?"
"Barley, but yes."
"Should we tell the guys what happened?"
"Maybe not, Wayne. It could be our little secret."
"Okay," I said, and I gave Mac a little smile.
The guys finally woke up, and we headed to the venue. I think I'm going to give this journal to a fan... Oh look we're at the venue now! Goodbye journal!

I now share a SPECIAL secret with Mac.. And, with you :)
