Luke's p.o.v.
Conner crashes into the tree and I quickly slam on my breaks. I take the keys out of the ignition as fast as I can and a huge tree branch falls of the tree they crashed into and pies through the back seat where Madison was just recently.
Panicking I run over to their vehicle and open up the back door but it doesn't budge. I grab ahold of the drivers door and pull it open. I yank Conners body out of the seat and throw him away from the car. I'll deal with him later.
"Maddie are you okay?!" I yell.
No response.
"MADDIE IF YOU'RE OKAY SPEAK NOW!!" I yell this time.
I hear her voice but it's in a whisper. I take a branch and break the window to get to Maddie. I pull the door open and jump in. I break all the branches in the way and see that the fallen branch was so close to hitting her. Again panicking, I go faster as there's more big ass branches falling. When I have enough space I grab Madison and get her out of the car. I carry her and put her into her own car. I wrap a blanket around her and kiss her forehead lightly. I look at her head and her ear has been cut, her head has been bashed against something several times and her arms and legs are all cut up. Her chin is also bleeding a lot. I look through the glove department in her car and find gauze. I wrap up her arms and legs as gentle as possible. I look in the thing again and find band aids and put one on her ear and chin each. I reach into my pocket and pull out a bandanna and wrap it around her head. It's the best I can do.
I shut the door and go back to the fuck ass I left on the ground and pick him up. I grab her suitcase out of the back of his piece of shit car and put it in the back. I put him in the back with her bag and he smells as if he's been drinking. Makes sense. I back out of the forest area slowly until I get back to the dirt road. I quickly try to leave this place and get back to the road. We are in the middle of no where.

Maddie's p.o.v.
I woke up in my car with a huge headache. I look at my arms and legs and see that I'm all bandaged up. Frightened I look beside me to see if Conner was still driving but it was Luke. I relaxed a little bit and turn up the music causing Luke to jump.
"I'm sorry," I say quietly.
"It's okay princess," he says.
"Thank you for saving me,"
"I would do it again in a heart beat," he says to me confidently.
I smile and look in front of us. I grab my Auxiliary cord, as always, and plug it into my phone. I put on 'Basket Case by Green Day' and relax. As the song goes on me and Luke sing along.
"Where are we going?" I ask Luke.
"The hospital," he says back.
"Great," I say disappointed.
