Chapter 3

I opened my eyes to see Caitlin standing above me smiling. I got up and saw Sebastian!? I thought my days of seeing him were over! I got my dress an brush and went in my bathroom and changed and all that good stuff.

I walked out and Mary needed me, I walked in to seen her and Ciel playing chess. Great I'll see Mr. Demon everyday.

"Yes my lady." I said bowing

"Ciel was just telling me that he has a very important job for you and Sebastian to do. Are you up to it?"

"Yes my lady, anything for you"

"I need you two to give this to the queen. I would be very happy." Ciel said handing me the letter

"Yes sir."

I walked out and Caitlin was about to crash some dishes. I ran and jumped off the stair case and ran to the kitchen. I grabbed all of them before they shattered, Sebastian walked in and my hair was in my face. I felt him push it out of my sight, I looked up at him.

"Thank you." I told him putting up the dishes

"Shall we go to the queen?" He said leading me to the door

"I guess." I said being lead outside

We were both in the drivers seat on the carriage. I saw him starring at me, I looked over at him and he was looking at the road. Ok that's not weird, we arrived at the queens house, or is it a castle? Never mind, I got down and looked at the door and there was a man with white hair and violet eyes.

He walked up to me an kissed my hand, he glared at Sebastian. I walked to the door with him, he smirked at me an opened the door. I smiled..a little. Sebastian was right behind me, he looked at the man of snow. Where they ravels?

I walked in and looked around, the man showed us to the queen. You couldn't see her face at all, there was a vail coving it.

"Miss we have.."

"We have a letter for you from my master" Sebastian said grabbing it from my hands

"Yes, what he said." I said with anger

She said nothing just put out her hand. That's very weird, not in a mean way or anything. Sebastian handed it to her and walked out, I walked behind him with confusion written all over my face.

The man of snow came and helped us out, he was very nice. I had a feeling he was like some angle but people kind and caring...every one of my kind get that feeling.

We went back to Mary's home and Ciel was ready to leave. Mary had one her first game of chess! I was happy for her, the thing about us undertakers is we are not good nor are we evil. 

I help Mary back inside and Jasper was standing at the door. I look at him with a little smile, he was eating a darn apple again. Mary told me to come up to her office. I as her maid did what she asked.

"Hailey what would you say about me getting some more helpers." She said writing down stuff

"My lady why would you need more helpers?" I asked

"Hailey I just, I would love to have a butler." She said

"Oh! Ok that's not a big deal." I said smiling

"I want a butler that's a demon or angle." She said handing me a paper "I want you to interview them."

"Yes my lady." I said bowing

"Oh and I would like to give you a new outfit." She said getting up "something that's easier to know that your my maid."

"Yes my lady." I said not that happy about the idea but agreed  

I walked down to the horses, this one stuck out more then the others.  The name on the stable door was  Dark Night, he had a black body and then his mane was white. He was just different, he was beautiful.

I walked up to him and looked in his black eyes. I petted him, he just stud there. He was calm...like I said he was different. I turned and Jasper was behind me.

"You know this was her dad's horse." He said

"No...she doesn't speak of them much." I said looking at her office window

"When they died she shut herself off from everyone. Ever her old friend, he loved her but then he just changed." Jasper said very depressed

"Who is the old friend." I asked

"Alois Trancy."  He said

"Oh." I said

"What's your story brownie head." He said laughing

"Why do you want to know apple boy?" I said

"I don't know it's just everyone has a story of why there here." He said

"True. What's yours?"

"So my mom and I moved down here when I was 15. We were from France, but my speak is still kind of gone. Anyway my mom was ill at the time, my dad was horrible to us. He abused me and my mom, we left. I promised I wouldn't let another man hurt my mother! She died shortly after we got here...she wanted the best for me. The thing was I had nothing else to hope, to pray for. Then Mary's parents took me in, they tough me about horses." He said looking up at me finally "what's your story know."

I just stud there, the 18 year old boy I thought was happy. Was just a dead spirt screaming for help, and all I wanted was to help. I smiled and thought it was right to tell mine know.

"I was 4 and my family where accused of witch craft. Stupid yes very, but my sister, brother, and I were use to being the demon kids from hell! It made me laugh everyday, cause the truth was they were the hell kids. My mom decided it was to much so we left our home of Virginia. We came here and we began a circus. Weird I know but that fell apart, my parents died and we had no one else. My brother died, so as my sister. Then my friend Kendall found me, she tought me. Then I ended up here, that's it." I said looking at him the whole time

"Seems like we were both left with no one." He said sitting on a bucket

"That's not true Jasper, if you want I'll be your friend. Heck I could even show you how to help me if you would like." I said with my hand on his shoulder

"I would like that brownie." He said

"Same here Apple boy." I said smiling
