School. Unfortunately, I still have to go to this shit. Filled with irrelevant people that make stupid decisions and are loved crazed. I have other more important things to worry about than homework. Time is something that goes to waste real fast, and if not used right, then there would've been no point to all of this. I need all the time I have left to finish something that shouldn't have started. I can't waste my time on other things that would make me unfocused; like boys.

That was all soon to change.

It was a normal day at school; classes were still boring as ever, and people were still irrelevant as ever. I let out a loud huff as I plop down on a chair in the back corner; setting my stuff next to my feet. My head hangs low as soon as the class started to fill up. Like always, my hood is up while my hair is curtained down to cover half of my face.

It was like in the middle of class when some dude with red hair decided to poke me with his pencil. I tried to ignore it, but it just got even worse. Little balls of paper was being thrown in my direction.

"Dude, no hoods in school." The kid beside me whispered.

"Well, I'm an exception." I muttered.

"You can't be that ugly."

"You're a dumbass." I shake my head and rolled my eyes.

"It's bothering me that you have your hood on," the red head leaned in closer to me, "if I can't have my hood up, then neither can you."

"Sucks for you, kid." I narrow my eyes at him.

"Keep it down," he whisper shouted, "I don't want to get caught."

"Something wrong, Mr. Clifford?" The teacher asks.

"U-uh no-"

"He was bothering me." I interrupt him.

"Keep it up, Clifford," the teacher warns him, "you'll end up in detention."

"Yes." He huffs and slumps into his seat. I smirk at him before turning my attention back to the board.

"Hey! Wait up!" Someone shouts behind me. I groan, recognizing the same voice from class.

"Adaline, right?" The kid was panting once he reached me.

"Sure." I said bluntly.

"A yes or no." He rolls his eyes at me.

"What do you need, kid?" I cross my arms in front of me.

"You were that girl." He said vaguely.

"Look, I need to be somewhere, so if you'd kindly move aside.." I try to walk past him, but he blocks my path.

"Last week," he began again, "you were that girl from last week." I roll my eyes at his vagueness.

"Yeah, I was also that girl from a month ago too." I said sarcastically.

"No, no, you saved me from getting groped," the kid said quickly, "in the alley."

"I saved no one, kid." I bluntly lied.

"Come one, I know that voice."

"Fine, I saved you, happy?" I quirked an eyebrow at him, "now may I please leave? I have somewhere important to go to." I walk past him and towards my car parked beside the building.

"I'm Michael, in case you didn't know!" He shouted from behind me.

"I didn't want to know, kid." I muttered under my breath. Getting into my car, I turn on the engine and look into the mirror. Michael was still in the same place I left him, gawking at my car. Smirking, I drive off, leaving him there still stunned.
