I was opening my present." What is it?" I asked Jess. She smirked "I can't tell you Libby!" I ripped the tape off so fast it was like it wasn't there. I started tearing out tissue paper and I saw it, one plane ticket and a bunch of shirts I hesitaited to thank her. "Thanks Jess what is it for?" She looked sad and said "Mom called me and said you will be living with a new family. I told her we had you for so long I just-" I started to sob in to her arm. "Why? I can't I stay?"
