I felt like I was dreaming, as if my whole body was in an euphoric state of mind. On one side it felt awesome, because who could feel this great and euphoric, without even being high. But then it got less euphoric...

I was being hit in the face, hard on my cheek. 'Travis! Wake up! Erica take the AED!' (For everybody who doesn't know what an AED is: Automatic External Defibrillator. It is a device which you can use when somebody is having any cardiac arrest.) Yes, probably the doctor had diagnosed I was having a cardiac arrest.

I was scared for what would come next, a hard shock through my body. I didn't want this. But probably I was really having a cardiac arrest so it was necessary for saving my life. The doctor would know what he had to do, right?

Bam! There it was! My whole body shocked, but I wasn't able to give any reaction. Bam! Damn didn't they just stop with those heavy shocks. It felt terrible! Bam! Auch! It was only getting worse... Bam! When was this ever going to end, it only became worse and worse. Smack! Wait? Huh? What was this? Some smooth lips were packed on mine, though she wasn't that skillful at it. She was keeping my mouth shut and held my head backwards... Again a Bam! and a Smack... Well at least something was good about all of this. After a minute I suddenly shook up and took some heavy breaths. I looked Doctor Avery and the nurses in the eyes. 'Well, you can at least kiss very well!'

'Luckily you're alive Travis! You got a cardiac arrest during the x-ray. We discovered it after 10 seconds when we took you out of the cabin. We immediately started using the AED and when that didn't work out Carry started rescue breathing you, eventually that worked.' Mr. Avery said.

Wait, I started thinking back to what I had just said. 'Well, you can at least kiss very well!' I hadn't made any mistake spelling out the words! I was myself again. I could speak normal, without having to stutter and use strange words. Though I still wasn't able to remember anything of just 10 minutes ago.

'Doctor Avery, what happened before I got the cardiac arrest?'

'You were analyzed by Doctor Tradics. He thought it smart to have you checked by the radiology center. So you were brought to here, where we started making x-rays of your body. During the last set you got the cardiac arrest.'

How did all of this happen? How did I even get into the hospital? What has happened last night? I can't remember anything from more than 10 minutes ago...

'Doctor... What has happened last night? I don't even know I got into hospital.'

'Travis all we know about last night is that someone found you in your car which was crashed into the berm of a quiet road. Yet we don't know what had happened to your car exactly, still the police are investigating this case. The only thing we can do now is make sure you have enough rest and then we can check the x-ray photos and hope for the best. This might sound strange to hear from a doctor, but up until now there is not yet that much we can do. We do need some time to develop the x-ray photos and have them checked and we need to wait for the police until the have their findings. So Travis, just take some rest, because what we do know for sure is that you must have had a really hard day.'
