'Not really sure how to feel about it.
Something in the way you move
Makes me feel like I can't live without you.' Stay by Rihanna"Scottney?" Mitch slowly opened the door of Scott's bedroom, "You asleep?"
He carefully peaked around the wooden door to Scott's bedroom to see his bestfriend's silhouette under the covers.
Mitch made his way into the room and sat down on the edge of Scott's bed, close to his head.
After making sure Scott was sound asleep, Mitch ran his fingers along his jawline. He continued by putting his hand on Scott's cheek and gently running his thumb against his cheekbone, where his blonde eyelashes rested.
The room was dark except for the moonlight shining through the pulled back curtains, causing a sliver of light to rest on the navy blue covers of Scott's.
Mitch pressed the home button of Scott's iPhone that laid on the bedside table and sighed as he saw the time. 03:47am.
He smiled at the photo on the home screen of Scott's phone. It was a photo taken of them on Mitch's birthday. Mitch was sat on the couch, Scott lay bedside him with his arm wrapped around Mitch's waist. It was after a birthday dinner they had with a couple of other friends and Scott was still dating Alex. That was July, now was November.
Mitch could help but smile at the memory and stroked Scott's messy hair, tangling his fingers in a few locks of blonde strands.
"Mitchie?" Scott raspy voice broke the silence that Mitch was sat in.
"Shit, Scott, I didn't mean to wake you up."
"What's wrong, babe?"
"Can't sleep, love."
"C'mere." Scott lifted the edge of his covers and allowed Mitch to slip inside into the warmth of the bed.
"What's wrong, honey?" Scott asked, wrapping his arm around Mitch's shoulders and kissing his temple.
"I had a bad dream and it scared the life out of me." Mitch cuddled up to Scott's chest.
"Tell me about it."
"Like it was a normal day, we went out to go to the restaurant and we had a car crash. Y-you died. The driver fucking killed you. You died Scott. You died."
"Don't worry. Mitchie, I'm here. I'm not going anywhere." Scott held Mitch close as tears strolled down his cheeks.
"I don't want to lose you, Scooter. I can't lose you."
"You won't lose me. I promise."
"I feel embarrassed."
"Why is that?"
"Because losing you is my biggest fear. Even if it's just you moving out, I'm still losing you. Promise me, promise me Scott that you will never ever leave me." Mitch clutched Scott's shirt in his hands as he sobbed.
"I promise. I promise with all my heart, Mitchie. I will never ever leave you. And if I ever move out of this apartment, then it's only with you. You're never going to be alone, baby."
Mitch continued sobbing, he had to tell Scott what was wrong with him. He deserved to know.
"Scott?" Mitch mumbled and sat up, wiping his eyes with his hands.
"Yes?" Scott looked up at Mitch.
Mitch pulled down his pajama pants and pulled up the boxers where they covered his thighs. He turned on the bedside lamp so that Scott could see his thighs.
"Mitch, what is this?" He asked, referring to the old scars and fresh red marks.
Mitch didn't answer just yet and pulled off his shirt, revealing his upper body. His ribs were showing through his skin and his stomach was flat and his clavicles were prominent.
"Mitch have you even been eating? What's wrong baby? Tell me." Scott wrapped his arms around the younger boy and held him close.
"S-Scott. I h-have anorex-xia and d-dep-pression." Mitch sobbed and stuttered.
"Why didn't you tell me earlier? Mitchie, I would have helped you."
"Y-you were too busy having sex with Alex. And I became nothing to you."
"I'm so sorry you felt that way, Sweetie. You're the most important person in my life. Not even Beyoncé beats you. I love you so much."
"I-I love you too."
"Let try and get some sleep, yeah?" Scott suggested and helped Mitch with his shirt and pajama pants because the boy was weak and tired.
"Can I stay here tonight?" Mitch asked, softly.
"I wasn't going to let you leave this bed anyway. You're comfortable. OMG can I be your personal cuddle bear?" Scott squealed excitedly.
"If you wish."
"Yes. From now I'm your personal cuddle bear and you can come in here and cuddle no matter what time of day or night okay?" Mitch nodded against Scott chest and his eyes slowly closed.
"I love you so much Scott. Don't ever leave me."
"I love you too, Pumpkin. I'm not leaving ever. Sleep well." Scott kissed the top of Mitch's head and himself closed his eyes.
