CHAPTER 1

Niyyla's POV

Wassup my name is Niyyla Moore and i'm 17 years old. I'm korean and black. i just moved back to to Minnesota with my mother. I live with my father in California but i come out here for school. I have a best friend out here and her name is Kayla Lee'Daniels. She's funny and i can talk to her about anything. Then there goes my biggest crush. His name is Jhordan Taylor. He's 6'2 and plays on the school's basketball team. Omg he's so cute and tall. Damn. But another day at school.i got up and did my hygiene stuff. i put on a gray top, skinny ripped jeans, and my Jordan 7's. I straighten my  hair, grabbed my purse and phone. Then i went outside waiting for the bus. About 5 mins later the bus came and when i got on there was Kayla waiting for me. So i go sit next to her.

Kayla: hey boo

Me: wassup

Kayla: where you been haven't seen you ina minute

Me: i was with my father 

Kayla: why you go back ?

Me: he got sick

Kayla: where is his wife

Me: they separated had a little argument but it's nothing they gone be back at it like they never left

Kayla: *laughs* true

Kayla is my best friend more like my sister i can talk to her about anything. She even know that i like Jhordan. Her and Jhordan are close and knew each other before they both ever moved over here.

Me:so why we sitting in a three seater

Kayla: you know your girl up to something. i texted Jhordan and told him to sit next to me because you wasn't coming

Me: really omg

Kayla: ohh stop you're gonna like it

Soon the bus stopped where we pick up Jhordan but he never got on the bus

Me: so where he at

Kayla: hold on ima text him right now

*5 minutes later he replied saying*

"Jhordan: sorry i missed the bus. i just woke up maybe we can do that tomorrow *wink emoji*

*wink emoji? what do they be talking about? why is he sending Kayla a wink emoji?* thoughts But i didn't say nothing the whole ride to school. just thinking because ever since i asked Kayla to help me with him he was always busy. But 2 mins later we arrived at school.

Me: well i'll see you later i'm going to class

Kayla: okay and don't worry he cant sit next to us in lunch

Me: okay 

I walked to class and it was algebra. This was my favorite class because i like this subject and my sexy teacher Mr.Will. He look so good and he's not even that old teacher. I think he's in his early 30's. But yeah class was over and i went to my locker. Then i see Jhordan coming from class walking this way.

??: don't stare too hard

Me: *jumps* Oh Brandon *hits him* i wasn't staring..... was i ?

Brandon: *laughs* yes you was

Brandon is another close friend to me. I can talk to him about anything. He used to have a big crush on me but i kept rejecting him so i guess the feeling was gone but he is still a good friend to me. He used to be fat and short lmaooo. But now he's tall (5'11"), skinny, and have braces. He's really smart and kinda look good now. but i like Jhordan not Brandon.

Brandon: where you been tho 

Me: with my father he was sick

Brandon: aww hope he feel better

Me: he do but ca i tell you something 

Brandon: yeah wassup

We started to walk

Me: you know how i asked Kayla to help me talk to ole boy ?

Brandon: yeah

Me: well ever since then he always been busy and this morning he sent her a wink emoji. What does that mean? you think they talk

Brandon: ion know but we can talk more walking home

Me: *sighs and makes a frown*

Brandon: I'll buy you your favorite ice cream Niyy

Me: since when did you had money *chuckles and smiles*

Brandon: ever since i started talking to this new girl *bits lips*

Me: ohh put me on bro

Brandon: when we walk home *kiss her forehead* don't worry bout her and that boy we can talk more and you can give me all your emotion later see you later *walks away* 

*thinks* omfg he's so sweet yo. Why did i ever say no? Lol. He know how to make me smile on my worst days. So i went to my next class. history, Jhordan was in that class but he sits in the front. like when he looks back we kinda have an eye connection. always day dreaming bout him no wonder why im failing this class.

*lunch time*

Kayla: how was your classes

Me: *even though im kinda mad at her i cant assume* it was god i guess what about you

Kayla: boring guess who i was talking to

Me: the person i keep thinking about

Kayla: duhh and he's having a party saturday 

Me: This saturday ?

Kayla: yes girl something in your ears?

Me: can't go sorry

Kayla: what you gotta leave town again

Me: no

Saturday is the day Brandon come over with his little sister. Can't tell Kayla because she prolly gonna think he likes me again or we talking since he look good now

Kayla: then what

Me: babysitting

Kayla: cool i'll just come over and help then

Me: nah not this weekend maybe next week time

Kayla: okay *looks confused* oh there he goes let's go

Me: ughh

*School's Over*

Brandon: hey don't leave without me beautiful

Me: Lmaoo Brandon you so corny

Brandom: i try not to be but i guess it didn't work *laughs*

Me: ready for and ear full you wouldn't believe happened to me at lunch
