day 6, part two, the meet

When we get home there is a note on the door. "What the," its in moms handwriting. It says 'Ashley, Abby, I went to the grocery store to pick up quality ingredients for dinner tonight. I want you to call the boy you were talking about so I can meet him. I'll be home in about 20 minutes.' "Oh my god! Abby! You have to help me! Come on!" I grab her hand and run to my room.

I send the message to Cam and Abby picks a few dresses for me and some shoes. "I take it you really like Camron?" I nervously shake my head yes as I wipe off the makeup from today. "I don't know why, but every time I'm around him, my heart beats really fast. I just, really like him." Abby smiles at me as we hear the front door open.

"Girls! I'm home!" Mom shouts from the front room. "Hi mom! Can you come here for a minute?!" I finish taking off all the makeup. "What is it sweetie?" I ask her about what to wear from the outfits and she chose a subtle gold sparkling dress. "Okay so I'm going to cook, when will the boy be here? Because dinner will be ready in an hour." I tell her when he'll be here, which is an hour, and she goes to cook.

After an hour, Abby finished doing my hair and it looks amazing. It's in tight curls and bunched on my head with one hanging on each side of my face. "Oh thank ya Abby! Its awesome!" Abby left her makeup and hair the same but she changed her clothes.

"Ashley! Someone's here to see you!" I look to Abby, distress clear on my face. "It'll be okay Ashley. Remember, its Camron we are talking about." I shake my head yes and we head to the living room.

"Ashley, you look gorgeous." I smile at Cam. I wanted this to be so perfect that I forgot how sweet and caring he is. I could be wearing trash and he wouldn't care. "You look good too Cam. This is Abby, I'm sure you must have met at one point or another." He looks to Abby then back to me. Mom standing in the doorway to the dinning room.

"Yeah. I met her once. When she came to pick up Jane for something. Miss Hieshinada, the food smells delicious. Is it ready yet?" Mom smiles and talks to Cam while I whisper to Abby. "How does he know Jane?" Abby whispers back. "She's his big sister. They're preternal twins. She's about 10 minutes older than him." Oh! "Well ladies and gentleman. Gregory will be here in about five minutes so let's sit in the living room." Mom leads the way to the huge living room.

Abby and mom sit on the couch and Can and I sit on the love seat. It feels so weird sitting this close to him. He is so handsome in his tux. "So, Camron. Why do you want to date my daughter?" Oh my god! I can't help but smile remembering the answer he told me! "Well, Misses Hieshinada, I think Ashley is a great person. She has a beautiful personality and a kind heart. I just love everything about her."

I'm definitely blushing cause my cheeks burn. Mom and Abby's eyes widen with surprise.

10 minutes later and dad gets home. We then eat and mom and dad seem to like him. After an hour he gets ready to go home. "Well Mr and Misses Hieshinada, dinner was great. Maybe me and my family can have you over another time. Goodnight Ashley." He bends down and kisses my forehead. "Bye Abby, see you later." We all say bye and me and Abby go to my room.

"That was intense! Abby, what did you think about tonight?" She let's out a sigh mixed with a laugh. "I thought that when he told your mom why, my heart would burst. It was so cute!" We just talk about tonight while we change into pajamas and fall asleep.

My first boyfriend, a total sweetheart, and hottie. I can't wait for tomorrow!
