The scent of her shampoo still lingered in my nose. Her moisturised hands as soft as my pillow. The ocean-blue coloured eyes staring deep into my soul. Oh, how I missed her. My journey to search for her had started. The length of my journey cannot be measured like how my love for her cannot be measured as it might be the size of the Pacific Ocean or the Antarctic. I will look for her.

My journey starts in Asia. Singapore. Changi Airport. The taxi that I took to the airport stopped. The driver went out to the back of the car to take my luggage out. I thought he needed some help. As I was walking towards the driver behind, he told me to stay there. What was wrong I wondered. His face was shocked disgust and carried my luggage to the pavement with his index finger and thumb. Confused and unsure, I just wanted to give him my taxi fee. I handed him the money while giving eye contact. The driver was shaking like a gush of wind just blew at him. He hesitantly snatched the money off my hand and rushed inside the car.

The unique smell in the airport had reminded me off her. This airport was the first time we met. The first time we held hands and the first time we kissed. Everywhere I go I see her. When I go to the water fountain, I see her drinking and splashing the water at me playfully. When I go to a fast food restaurant, I see her feeding me her dish while giggling cutely. When I go to the chair where people would wait for their plane to arrive, I see her running towards me to give me a hug. Those were the days. Now, no girl would ever brighten up my heart. Not even my own mother. My soul had ran away the second she went missing. Did she go missing because of me? Or was this meant to be?
