"Give me a good reason to not kill you." I say, pointing a gun at one of my fellow members.

"Luciel please don't! She didn't mean it!" Hana cries out while she hides behind Benjamin and the others, I chuckle, my eyes turning a deep red and golden yellow, all of the white in my eyes gone and filled with pure black. This was the end of the line.

I've lost the battle I had been fighting so hard against for the last years. I feel my sanity slowly disappearing into the nothingness, the darkness of oneself. I feel myself shaking in the blood covered snow, I can't think straight, my vision is getting blurry. I hear a voice in my head, a soothing voice.

Let it take over.

Let it envelope you.

I smile and point the gun at my head.

"You know what's funny?" I say smiling while backing up to a tree. "I rather end my miserable life than kill you. Sad no? Even though you deserve to die, I couldn't kill you or anyone else."

I'll save them and end my life. For them, I will. I won't go insane.

I start to laugh maniacally while I slump against the tree.

Oh but you already have.

Now, pull the trigger.

I wake up breathing heavily and shaking. "What the hell.." I say, my voice dry, I lick my lips and get out of bed, standing in the middle of my room I look for a pen and notebook. I know I have one around here.

Finally settling on a ripped piece of paper and semi good pen I write down what I had just dreamt and walk to my kitchen, with the paper still in my hand. I grab an empty glass and place it next to the microwave, after that I take out a blood bag marked "O - type" from the refrigerator and place it in the microwave for two minutes.

After the microwave bell beeps I take out the bag and pour it in glass, drinking it in big gulps.
Once the glass is empty I place the paper on top of the microwave and put the stained glass in the sink to wash, turning the water on I hear my phone sound. When I finish washing it my phone rings again, I place the glass in the cupboard and go to my room to see what was received, might be a notification from a game or something of the sort.

I turn my phone on and see that it's not a game notification but a series of messages from my coworker Monty.

Remember the mission you were scheduled for in three months? Yeah, something came up so it's been moved to today.

I check the next message.

Are you sleeping?
Wake up, boss says if you don't respond in three minutes he's coming to get you.

Jesus he can't be serious.
I check the next message.

Message Received 9/12/16 at 2:35 am

He's going to get you lol.

What the hell? That wasn't even three minutes. I chuckle and reply back.

Message Sent 9/12/16 at 2:36 am

Wth? I was in my kitchen, I didn't bring the damn phone with me. TELL HIM TO GO BACK.

She sends me another message almost instantly.

Message Received 9/12/16 at 2:36 am

Too late, he says he's three blocks away from you.
Why are you in the kitchen at this hour? Weird ass.

Well excuse me for having a dry mouth after a nightmare.
I send her another message.

Message Sent 9/12/16 at 2:37 am

Hell, I'm not going to let him in. DO Y'ALL EVER THINK THAT I MIGHT BE SLEEPING NAKED? NO.

Message Received 9/12/16 at 2:37 am

I highly doubt that you, Luciel G. Archer sleep naked. And why would we even? That's just weird.

I sigh out of frustration and reply back.

Message Sent 9/12/16 at 2:38 am

I hate you.

Message Received 9/12/16 at 2:38 am

You love me. Now open the door he's parking his car in your driveway.

Message Sent 9/12/16 at 2:38 am

Whatever.

I press the home screen button and the music app where Old number seven by The Devil Makes Three begins to play, I sing along in my head.

When I grew up fast I guess I grew up mean
There's a thousand things inside my head I wish I ain't seen
And now I just wander through a real bad dream
Feelin' like I'm coming apart at the seams

Thank you Jack Daniel's Old Number Seven
Tennessee Whiskey got me drinking in heaven
Angels start to look good to me
They're gonna have to deport me to the fiery deep

I walk to my front door and open it, lean to the right of the doorway, and watch as my boss difficulty make his way to my driveway and park his car behind mine.

Finally after what seemed like years he parks and gets out.

"Wow, you seriously need to improve on your driving skills." I say chuckling, he in return gives me a glare. I lift my hands up to show that I mean no harm.
"Hey I was just joking.."

A moment of awkward silence envelops us. "You okay?" I ask with an eyebrow raised.

"Why didn't you answer Monty immediately?" He says, crossing his arms.

"Um... I was in my kitchen, I left my phone in the damn bedroom. Is this what we're going to talk about right now? Cause if it is.." I look up at the dark sky. "It can wait 'till morning." I say while looking at him.

"No it can't, we need to talk."

Well Shit.
