A/N this chapter is dedicated to.......... ForLifeMusic5 ! And also thanks to dreaming_in_seattle for telling me what to do with this story, much appreciated!
Henry, Brian, and Lilith turned to face me and walked over to wear I was. I pulled down the piece of shirt and the purple shoes. "So we have her shoes," I said.
"Yep, so she is definitely in this forest," Brian replied.
Henry then butted in, "Well, you never know, the kidnapper could have just-"
"She's in the forest," Lilith cut him off.
"Okay, okay, chica," Henry said, smirking at the last part.
"I will rip of your head!" Lilith shrieked, putting him in a head lock.
"Oh geez," Henry muttered, "Fine. I am sorry I called you chica." Lilith let go of the head lock and smiled sweetly.
"Thank you, Henry," she thanked. She undid the ruffles in her skirt made from her attacking Henry then turned back to Brian and I. "Shall we keep going?" She asked.
"Sounds good to me," I answered. We continued walking down the path, the shoes swinging along in my grip. Brian put his arm around my shoulders and kissed my forehead.
This caused Henry to scream, "PDA!"
"Whatever," Brian muttered, kissing my lips.
"You guys make me sick," Henry said, clicking his tongue 'disapprovingly'.
"I'm just going to remind you that you made us watch you and Kayla make out when we were eating like lunch or something together, so I don't really see a problem with me kissing my boyfriend and not making out with him," I replied.
"Touché," Henry muttered. "And Lilith, why don't you have a problem with this?"
"Right now, I feel like Aphrodite. I finally got them to be a couple after realizing Brian's obvious crush on Sarah, and how Sarah had an obvious crush on Brian, both, of course, completely oblivious to the other one's crush, so I'm kind of happy seeing that my work was not wasted," Lilith replied.
"Again, touché," Henry muttered.
Finally, we got to the fork in the path. "Left, right?" I asked to clarify.
"Left," Lilith clarified. We continued on left for a little while, until the path ended, leading to another fork in the path.
"Now where do we go?" I asked.
"Uh, right," Brian replied. So, we went right until a small light was visible from ahead. We all ran up to it and saw that the forest ended and it came out on a beach.
"What?" Henry asked.
"This forest should have gone on for miles more," Lilith said.
"This is weird," I agreed. I looked down at the shoes and saw something different about me that I hadn't noticed before. "Hey guys, did Kayla's shoes ever have writing in them?"
"No," Lilith replied coming over to look at the shoes. Henry and Brian came along as well.
"Come to the forest, and find me you might, look for the beach that glows the light, find the house as gray as concrete, come inside and there she will lay, sound asleep, forever yours to keep. Uh, that's creepy," I said, dropping the shoe like it was road kill.
"Wait, is this a prophecy? Are we in some magical world and don't know it? Are we in the world of Percy Jackson and Hera kidnapped Kayla like she did with Percy and Jason?" Lilith squealed.(A/N I'm sorry, I just had to😋) Yep. Lilith is a fangirl.(A/N Okay, Lilith may or may not be based off of me😋)
"No, idiot," Henry said, "It's just the kidnapper trying to freak us out or make us think that."
"Idiot is just as bad as chica, punk," Lilith warned.
"Oh, punk? Is this where we're going?" Henry asked.
"Oh, shut up, you two," Brian said, "Anyway, we came to the forest, we found the beach, now we need to find this concrete building and there will be Kayla!"
"Good," I said, kissing his cheek, "Let's go get to that concrete building!" We continued down the beach in search of the building.
