"Hello Demi. How was your day?" Why does she keep asking everyone that? My mom didn't like Demi very much because she's pretty and thinks she sleeps around. Demi is a virgin so I don't know why she would think that.

"I'm great." She knew to stop there. I think she knows my mom better than I do.

"Why don't you two take Edward into the living room and put on a movie. Joel should be home soon, he just called." Thank God. We both nodded and I grabbed Edward out of his high chair.

"We should watch 'Santa Claus is coming to Town'" I suggest. It's my favourite Christmas movie, makes me wish it was Christmas. Demi nods with excitement, that's her favourite too. "Than we shall watch." I say in a British accent. I put the movie in and take a seat next to Demi. I love this movie!

"Taylor, Taylor honey it's time to wake up." My dad says shaking me slightly. We must have fallen asleep.

"What time is it?" I ask sitting up.

"6am. Come on, you need to get ready for the family gathering and you need to see if she needs to be at work." Crap. I'm not ready to get up yet. My dad left the room and I just kinda sat there for a second.

"Dem." I whispered in her ear. She hates it when I do that. I do too but it'll get her up.

"Whaaat?" Told you.

"Do you have work today?" She sat straight up, but she kept her eyes closed.

"What?" She asked again, and before I could answer she ran up the stairs. She was probably going to raid my closet so I went to the kitchen.

"Hey squirt, come here." I walked over to him and he tilted my head up. "Your eye is a very pretty purplish blue colour, but I must say it's not looking good with the green eyes." Oh no!

"What? Does it look bad?" I frantically ask.

"No honey, it's just a light bruise." I run to the random mirror my mom put in the hall and saw that it really wasn't that bad, but it was still noticeable. I walk back into the kitchen and my dad is just standing there smiling....not cool dad.

"So did he ask you out or something?" I knew eventually he would bring it up.

"He did, and I said yes." I smiled.

"Ok next time you want to impress though, you probably shouldn't hit yourself with a door." He laughed. Oh gosh.

"Oh dad, please don't bring that up." I can feel the blush heating my face now.

"Ok, ok, you should probably get ready though. We might run into lover boy." I swear I'm going to kill him. I ignore his comment and run up the stairs and into my room. This was going to be a long day.
