I move a lot. We stay in one place for about a year and a half. Then we move again. Because of this I don't make many friends. I'm more of a loner. This time we moved to New York. My sister ashhlyne was excited. My mom and dad constantly had to move for their jobs. So it was difficult to fit in. My mom works works for a big company and my dad is a physics major. When we moved to New York me and my older brother kade and my older sister ashhlyne knew it wouldn't be any different than the last time.
I was helping my mom put things away downstairs all day, so I never really had time to work on my room like my sister and brother. We were almost done when I felt someone grab my shoulder. I jumped and turned to see my brother kade standing behind me with a huge grin on his face.
"Why don't you go start on your room, ill help mom finish down here." Kade said still smiling as he hugged me. I just looked at him and nodded. I was almost to the top of the stairs when ashhlyne stopped me at the top of the stairs.
"Do you know where my last box of stuff is? It says ashh in big letters." She asked looking around me to the downstairs.
"It's by the couch." I said pointing to the living room. She quickly said thanks and I moved as she ran down the stairs. I walked to my room and walked in to see all my boxes had already been brought up. Kade must have brought them up when I wasn't looking. I started unpacking and put put things were they went. I had just finished putting away my clothes when there was a quiet knock on the door. Kade poked his head in.
"Cassie you should get some sleep. You've been up all day and it's 10:39." he said, coming in all the way. He walked over and hugged me tightly. He was an awesome brother. He always looked out for me.
"Okay. Night Kade." I said as he walked to the door.he turned before he close the door and turned off the light. Then he closed the door and I could hear him walking down the stairs. I slowly drifted off to sleep.
